  1. I dunno why, it reminded me of this: http://www.videogametimes.com/images/bunchies_1.jpg
  2. http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/images/2007/03/02/gV3vdeZu.jpg Awesome face to go along with awesome name (Rocky Cherry)
  3. http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/images/2007/03/02/yaTYzEkb.jpg He looks like hes on a roller coaster going straight down.
  4. Looks like Sosa went 1-3 today with a single in today's game. No idea how many K's he had.
  5. Michigan just choked away their NCAA chances against Ohio State with 2 stupid turnovers and a tipped rebound right into the hands of an OSU player that lead to an 8-0 run. Michigan had a 6 point lead with 3:30 left..
  6. Is it just me or did this thread go from Baseball Discussions to Social and back to Baseball Discussions
  7. If he used steroids, they didn't work well for us..
  8. This reminds me of when Red Sox fans were accusing Ramero Mendoza of coming over from the Yankees to sabotage the Red Sox by sucking. That is totally what Cotts is doing. I hope Aardsma is doing the same for the Cubs.
  9. Classy move Michael! Good to see that Gino's East endorsement money going to good use!
  10. Izzy at the 2 is waaaay too much of a Dusty move....I don't like this one bit.
  11. I've done something similar to that before as well.
  12. I agree completely. Plus with the low OBP/high power on the team, the offense could very well resemble the feast or famine offenses of 2004-2005
  13. Another hit off Marquis (yes hes the Jock of 2007)
  14. 8 players for the Giants were sent home with the flu. Get them away from Prior!
  15. AHHH LOU SAYS THIS COULD BE 'DARN CLOSE' TO OUR REGULAR LINEUP But then he said "We got Murton in the 2 hole, that could change" Blah
  16. I know, its funny to see. Especially because I don't anywhere close to the optimism that people on this board have. I am trying so hard not to fall into the Spring time giddyness that happens every year because I don't want to be hurt again.
  17. Neifi was 0-3 with a walk and 2 K's today
  18. Ya know..... last year, the CUBS were 12-3 when they scored at least 3 runs in the first inning...... 54-93 when they didn't. Man, I'm really getting excited about baseball !! Unbelievable that we actually lost 3 games last year after scoring 3 runs in the first.
  19. In years? More optimistic then 2004? Lets not get carried away now...
  20. Are these official pictures? http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/images/players/mugshot/ph_150404.jpg Lilly http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/images/players/mugshot/ph_150302.jpg Marquis http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/images/players/mugshot/ph_136660.jpg DeRosa http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/images/players/mugshot/ph_150093.jpg Soriano
  21. Damn Grossman he better not suck today. OH WAIT ITS BASEBALL TIME!
  22. Man we are just starting to get some optimism, do we really need to bring up Dusty? Well since we must...mentioning Dusty's Cub tenure can only be done properly if one other person is mentioned: http://andrewfalconer.com/neifi/neifi_legend.gif
