  1. Don't fret about the losing guys. I suspect a long period of not losing is coming up real soon.
  2. Don't stop believing. Well now that its offical, we can reunite for Bears and Bulls season.
  3. How fast do hot cakes usually fly past you? On average, I would say 12-15mph, though I vaguely remember a time as a child walking to school when the wind was blowing in my direction. Those hot cakes had to of been soaring at a speed of at least 45mph. I say vaguely because I was knocked out cold by one with a severe concussion and welts the size of grapefruits  It wasn't safe living near the Aunt Jemima factory when they left their windows open.. Still slower then the average fly ball
  4. Well Bears Seahawks pictures are few and far between. Here is the only picture I can find on Google images that doesn't make the Bears look bad http://www.kgw.com/sharedcontent/east/nfl/7/slideshow/636/images/4.jpg Some photos from the Seahawks website: http://www.seahawks.com/GalleryPics/Gall287/Flags2Q1019.jpg Oh yeah! Chandler with the 2 point conversion! (the only picture that wasn't biased for the seahawks http://www.seahawks.com/GalleryPics/Gall289/Chandler4Q1019.jpg
  5. Seahawks fans are pretty dim. They seem to think that we have no offense. Do they realize that teams aren't the same from year to year. First of all, I am not saying that Rex Grossman is the next coming of Brett Favre. But by watching the first 3 games of the season, IT IS PLAINLY OBVIOUS that with Grossman at QB, the Bears offense is better. YES, there are still problems in the red zone. YES, he makes mistakes still when pressured. But the fact of the matter is, in games Grossman plays, the Bears offense consistantly puts itself in a position to score. The offense is completely changed from last season. I guess I shouldn't be too upset because the Seahawks don't intently watch Bears games like we do. If they did they would see how conservative the offense was with Orton at the helm. When Grossman threw a bomb to I think Moose in the GB game last year, it was the first 40+ yard pass completion of the year. How many do we have this year? Certainly more then 1. The game has opened up and we can now play for the deep pass instead of simply hoping to get a few good runs and a FG while hoping for the D to hold ground. We can now actually get in shootouts, as evidenced by the playoff game. Seahawks fans seem to think we got shut out in that game. I agree, the game was worse then the score indicated, but we spent most of the second half within a 1 score distance. Our defense failed, but our offense looked pretty decent in that game and has only improved since. I don't mind Seattle thinking that they can win, because they should think that. But to dismiss the Bears as an inferior opponent and then saying its because we have no offense is idiotic.
  6. The game isn't for another 6 days, and this game thread already has as many pages as the last 2 Cubs game threads combined.
  7. I want Matt Murton to bat 2nd. I never want him to bunt. Ever. Never ever. Not even with a runner on second with 0 outs playing for 1 run?
  8. Likely. Maybe the Bucs can see what Major Applewhite is up to these days
  9. Yes but his OBP is so nice, and I still contend he would hit for more power at Wrigley.
  10. I'll try to dig up some Bears/Seahawks photos a little later, but they are hard to find.
  11. And then Kurt Warner coughed it right back to them. Time for Matt Leinart - 4 turnovers against the Rams is reason enough for a benching. He butchered my fantasy team today. My QBs are Warner, Rivers and Grossman right now...but I'll be 3-0 soon :)
  12. Also Nomar just hit a walkoff grand slam
  13. Rams just coughed up their game
  14. RDub sighting! Good for him!. Disagree with the announcers though, NY is NOT back in this game.
  15. This Ravens/Browns game is really entertaining. I was upset that we got this game at first, but now I'm satisfied
  16. Seattle looks good but they normally play invincible at home Anyone watching the Browns/Ravens game. Some announcers show no emotion...this guy marks out on every play
  17. Don't worry about it, I know how it is. I know why most Bears and fans around the league don't take us very seriously. The thing is, this team is well coached, won't kill themselves and plays solid defense. We haven't seen any of those three things from the Vikings in years. It's a totally different team. Our defense and limiting turnovers on offense will keep us in most every game. At the same time unless our offense can score touchdowns when they get in the red zone, it will be tough to overtake the Bears. I think we did show that the Bears offense isn't as good as some thought and Rex can be rattled or confused with pressure. Like I said before the season I would have been more than satisfied with a 2-1 start. We have the Bills and Lions heading into the bye, then come out with Seattle and New England. After those 4 games we'll know how good the Vikes can be. I knew the Vikings would give the Bears offense trouble because of how they like to blitz. Grossman loses his mind under pressure, and you guys did a good job of taking advantage of that, although you could have had up to 5 INTs today.
  18. I think its obvious that the Vikings are a good team. Before the game, I considered them a fringe playoff team. Now I view them as a solid 9-7 or 10-6 wild card team. Possibly even better. Viknigs have a pretty easy stretch coming up save the games against New England and the Giants. Anyways, sorry it got testy in here, you cant blame Bears fans for getting confident over our team after the way we played the first 2 weeks.
  19. I can't believe they won....Vikings fans must be stunned. Honestly, even if they lost, I would contend that the Bears are the better team after seeing them both on the field...if they lost, it was a result of poor coaching and stupid decisions.
  20. SEXT REXY!!!! SHEEEEED!!!!! I LOVE THIS STUFF!!!!!!!!! CUBS LOSE!!! DEMPSTER SUCKS!!! BUT THE BEARS RULE!!!!!!!!! OH MY!!!!!!
  21. what a terrible fan ^^ I know, I blame it on the Cubs :)
  22. Dempster about to blow another save for the Cubs
