    Soriano single, Theriot double, Lee reached on Visquel error scoring 1, Ramirez singled, Jones singled in 1, Floyd singled in 2, Blanco got out, Izturis got an RBI out, and Z tripled in another run before Soriano got the last out of the inning. I was actually pretty close

    From looking at the Box score, this is my guess: Soriano singled Theriot doubled, Soriano to third Lee flew out, Soriano scores Ramirez singles, Theriot to third Jones singles, Theriot scores, Ramirez to third Floyd singles, Ramirez scores, Jones scores Blanco reaches on error, Floyd to third Izturis flew out, Floyd scores Zambrano triples, Blanco scores Soriano gets out

    Well the NIT bracket is filling up with my favorite teams once again with Michigan's loss to OSU. DePaul clinched their spot on Wednesday.

    Wasn't he really disappointed that he wasnt called up last year when everyone else was called up? Now he's hitting over .400 in spring and won't be with the club. I support this decision, but I hope Pie doesn't get really upset when it's made..

    Feast or famine this offense will be, I'm warning ya. How many long counts did the Cubs get into this inning? Not to be the consistant dark cloud out there, but something to look out for.

    Yup....depending on the day they can beat anyone or they can beat no one. I can't believe the same team that has beaten Kansas has lost to Northwestern.

    Are you kidding me? Briggs was a beast last year. How many forced fumbles did he have? He was devistating to any RB that tried to run to his side of the ball. He also had 2 INTs, and 8 passes defended. But his value to the team goes beyond stats and even big plays (which he had more then 1 last year).

    Did you read the artice? Don't know what to make of that. Could just be negotiating tough talk. I see his point if the Bears refuse to discuss a longterm contract. And I'm a bit upset with the Bears if they truly are refusing to discuss longterm deals. However, the Bears have to do what is best for them, and franchising Briggs is clearly what's best. Rescinding it is not an option. If Briggs wants the Bears to trade him, it is probably up to him and his agent to find a deal. It doesn't really do the Bears much good to go out looking for a trade. Given how inactive they look to be this free agent period, I'm for signing him longterm, and hopefully, that's exactly what they end up doing. I still also think its a negotiating tactic. How many times did Scottie Pippen say something like that and end up playing for the Bulls time and time again.

    Not really a nickname, but when Murton hits a HR, I refer to it as a Murt Hurt. Also, in 2004, I unsuccessfully tried to coin Digli as a DLee nickname, which is a take off of the terrible movie Gigli (pronounced Gee-Lee). Also, taking off an old joke, Ronny Cedeno could be renamed Rnny Ceen. Jacque Jones is Jock or Jocktacular or Jockorific. (mostly not a term of endearment though) When ARam is doing bad (especially on offense and defense at the same time), I like to refer to him as ErrorMiss Ramirez. Sorry all of my suggestions are negative...
