  1. He also criticized the Cubs for spending all that money, and not even spending it on anyone that good.
  2. There goes my sale.
  3. I agree, Manning is pretty bad at times. Although I guess you can't blame him for being able to tackle a streaking Reggie Bush in the open field, he took an awful route to him and really had no shot at him when he got there. I would potentially trade Ogunleye for a mid first rounder and get Landry. Mark Anderson is the cheaper option to fit his role, as much as I love Wally and recognize how he stepped up last week
  4. GO BEARS! On page 1 of a historic thread!
  5. Those were the same freanking guys that said the Bears woulod go 19-0. lets give that S a break. They completly dogged the Bears the past month of the season. They are morons and can kiss my rear end. The last month of the season y'all were barely beating crappy teams, what'd you expect them to say? Y'all played today like the Bears of earlier in the season. Mostly meaningless games with a depleated secondary. And they were still wins. I really can't be convinced that the media has treated the Bears more elastically then any other team in the NFL
  6. You know what else rules about today? To the best of my knowledge, no injuries today! That means we are pretty much a Tommie Harris and a Mike Brown from having our ideal team out there, which we know is impossible to accomplish.
  7. Sorry for me jokingly giving up on the game in the heat of the moment earlier. Doesn't make the win any less sweet for me. I cannot describe my emotions right now.
  8. Wow Rexy is sort of back. I know we have the momentum, but its scary to see the game go into the 4th with a one score lead.
  9. I think its safe to say that this Saints possession is really really huge
  10. We don't convert here and now I'm bracing for my life
  11. What are you trying to say? That the D is slow because they aren't as fast as likely the fastest man in football.
  12. And thats game. What the hell was chris harris doing
  13. Way too many points left on the table...Can you imagine how comfortable We'd be right now if we were up 24-7
  14. Crazy as he is, he'd be a good Defensive End. He'd love sacking people. I could see him pointing to his head and swearing to himself after every sack.
  15. Game of note for Illini fans, Bulls face Deron Williams, Dee Brown and Roger Powell and the rest of the Utah Jazz tonight. Expect to see Z at the game tonight. He usually attends a Bulls game when hes in town for Cubs convention
  16. Should I buy one of these on Monday? http://nfl.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/p3474605dt.jpg How about this? http://nfl.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/p3474631dt.jpg Certainly won't want to buy an irrelevent one of these: http://spln.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/p3474608dt.jpg
  17. Calm before the storm happening in this game thread
  18. I know we've gone over this before, but he should have been credited with a fumble in the Buffalo game, and there are a couple of other times he dropped the ball almost instantly after his knee touched down, most recently in OT last week. QB's are charged for fumbles on botched handoffs. Almost fumbling doesn't count. I know but looking at the replays, I've personally concluded that Benson was the one that fumbled and it was incorrectly "credited" to Griese

  20. Really? Horn actually might play? I know his presence on the field alone causes problems, but do you think he'll be as effective not at 100%? Either way, that puts a hitch in the Bears defensive plans. Well there were several rumors coming from anonymous players that Horn wasn't as injured as the Saints front office made him out to be. That's shady :) Wouldn't put it past Payton...he's nasty like that. Although if they were gonna do that they should have waited until game time to unleash him. Now the Bears have time to factor him into their defensive schemes. Maybe thats what he wants...

  22. 3.7 YPC is not decent. It's well below average. It's crap when talking about team's in the playoffs. On grass: Jones: 76 yds, 3.8ypc Benson: 41 yds, 4.2ypc I guess Jones is well below average too? I'm pretty sure Jones and Benson have more than 117 yards on grass this season. Thats yards per game
  23. On grass: Deuce is averaging 17 carries, 62 yards, and 3.7ypc Bush is averaging 12 carries, 44 yards, and 3.6ypc In Dome: Deuce is averaging 16 carries, 76 yards, and 4.75ypc Bush is averaging 7 carries, 30 yards, and 3.8ypc In other words... Good in dome...bad on grass. I would say good in dome, noticably not as good on grass. But 3.7 YPC is still pretty decent. Don't expect us to just shut down the run game.
