The thing that scares me is that the defense has been just awful. That is supposed to be the backbone of this team. It has allowed over 300 yards of offense 5 of the last 6 games after not allowing it all season prior to that. You can call it simplified schemes or whatever, but the fact of the matter is, the defense has sucked since before we had everything wrapped up. If the offense doesn't step up without Brown and Harris, there is no reason to rely on the offense to 'save us' in our playoff game. -

If Grossman stays in the whole game, there are nothing but positives: 1. He might get back on track and finish strong 2. He might suck so badly that Griese has to start the playoff game 3. God forbid, he might get hurt and not be able to start the playoff game The only negative is that Griese would be rusty not playing today. -

The Vikings really blow. Down 34-7. It's too bad the Rams had that 1-7 streak midseason. They might be a dangerous team in the playoffs. I guess I can't be too upset. Although I still don't like the idea of facing Dallas or Seattle, I would still be scared if we played Carolina or St. Louis, so I am glad that they didn't get in.

The Lions have so many gaping holes. If they at least had a QB they could count on, I'd suggest they trade down and get some offensive line help, because this OLine is terrible. Kitna gets 3 seconds to throw almost every down.
