    BTW, in the GB game, out of the 26 points GB scored, 14 of them were a direct result of Rex Grossman throwing an INT for a TD. That should not count on the D's record.

    The Special Teams DVOA rankings have the Saints at 14 and the Bears at 1. Could this be a reason the Saints are doing OK in YPG and the Bears not as good? With a lesser kick return game, teams generally have to drive for less yards to score then the Bears opponents have to.

    Anyone else wonder if Sosa's comeback is a selfish attempt to delay his initial HOF eligability until this whole steroids thing (hopefully for him) blows over? All he needs is one entry into a game to delay it 2 seasons.

    Who would have thought that out of all the opponents the Bears have faced this year, it would be the Saints that we have have the most bickering with? Go Cubs!

    All I know is that for one team this season, I think it was the Vikings or something, fans there were trying to discuss their team and basically the consensus of the people there (don't remember if it was mods or not) was that the Bears threads would be treated like Cubs threads and that "trolling" like comments should be forbidden in the thread. I have no problem with Saints fans talking in the Bears thread. It's a Cubs message board, why let football separate us. There are several good Bears and Saints forums that are discussing the game with their own biased viewpoints, and if thats what you are looking for, then go there.

    Agreed. As much as I love the Bears, and I really do love the Bears, simply seeing the Cubs make the playoffs would be just a little better.

    From Gene's column What the hell, on one hand im mad at the Bears fans that didnt show up (every seat looked filled to me), and on the other I'm mad at Gene for needing to embarass the Bears fans by throwing out that comment which was rather unnecessary for the content in his article.

    I'll be one of maybe 4 people in Chicago rooting against the Bears. I'll be in a sea of Bears fans. And even the non-Bears fans who root for other teams will be rooting for the Bears, it's hard not to around here. Shouldn't have been a sucker for winning teams when you were growing up in the 90's and stuck with the hometown boys through thick and thin :)

    Anyone going to the game Sunday planning on tailgating? My normal tailgating crew is not going to be tailgating for the game, so I am looking for other options. If no one is tailgating, anyone interested in maybe meeting up in one of the lots and doing some basic tailgating. I have a propane grill to use and whatnot, but I don't have any sort of SUV or anything to bring it, nor do I feel like getting there at 6am to get a spot at the 31st street lot, but I would be willing to meet up, bring some beer and eat some chips or whatnot and get pumped up for the game.
