  1. Wow-the Reds must have committed quite a few errors-that's 29 outs hit into by the Cubs, and that doesn't even count the pitcher's spot :D Exactly, 6 errors! Well 7 actually including this post

  3. OK Vance, now that this mission is over, now its time for your next project, getting Henry Blanco voted into the All Star Game
  4. I've been quiet about my voting, but I just made a final push of five votes for you.
  5. Some where in FL I think Scottsdale Stadium. I thought it was on Catalina Island near San Diego, CA

  8. 78 wins and a third place finish
  9. A single, a double, a walk, a wild pitch...and then two two-base errors and another throwing error. Not sure we can fault Prior, not knowing what's going on down there. Thats a 1.50 WHIP which is not awful, but who knows how those errors could have changed things
  10. Earned runs or not, this wasnt exactly the type of start I was hoping to see from Mark today..
  11. I actually kinda like what the Rockies have been able to put together over there. Aside from the top of their order, it looks formiddable. Agreed, Atkins, Holliday, Helton, Hawpe is not a bad middle of the order. Its the other 4 position players that I worry about.
  12. HGH? Just kidding I think. He has also shown increased patience. He has to show it in the season though.
  13. I don't see how a mean streak or 'wanting it' will give back the 4-5 MPH he has lost on his fastball.

  15. Hmm..something tells me that his career is just about over.
  16. Never a doubt in my mind. They'll lose their next 3 too. I really hope they can fall to around the 7th pick range. That would be fine by me. Plus being in the 7th spot really increases our odds for a chance to fall into the top 3 and get a stud
  17. I pray to God that Cedeno can keep up this BB pace during the regular season. A couple of things I wonder though: -Yes, good coaching can change a hitters approach, but can a hitter that has historically been notoriously impatient suddenly over an offseason turn into an even average on base threat? -Will Ronny being mostly a backup affect his hitting approach. If he is not getting many at bats, will be go up there being aggressive wanting something to happen and revert back to his old self.
  18. *Insert towel joke here* Oh wait crap, thats what we say when Prior gets hurt. Nevermind
  19. I don't know, weren't they about to trade him right before that injury?
  20. When dealing with Kerry Wood, if its unclear if hes hurt, he probably is.
  21. He was back with the Astros? Did not know that...
  22. Anyways, I got soaked at the game. I watched Maddux and then Prior throw before the game. Prior looked to be in a bad mood, he was cussing after throwing pitches and generally looked to be grumpy. At one point he said something about his arm feeling like crap, but I don't know what context he said that in, so don't take that as anything.
  23. That was his first start back when he clearly wasnt ready...Like you said, I don't know how much relevance that has.
