  1. Why can't I rely on our $17 million run producer to....you know, produce runs?
  2. What the hell, did he just stop playing defense during his stint in Chicago?
  3. -How will this affect the cubs as Gallardo is arguably the most important part of the brewers rotation (depending on if you consider another sheets injury a forgone conclusion or not). Well the Cubs have their own pitching problems to worry about. Certainly helps to not have your best pitching in there. Could be bad for the Cubs in the long run if the Brewers stay in the race and mange to swing a trade for an AJ Burnett or a Rich Harden or someone. -Did Yost leaving him in there further the injury? No, I think it's already been said it wasn't the cause -Even if it did not, why leave him in? Ned Yost -Will it require surgery? (I haven't heard) I think so, its a complete tear Replacement options? (Dave Bush for now...potential trades?) Jeff Weaver? Also the names I said before. and a non-Gallardo question: How should opposing teams fans handle themselves on the board? Respectful, not steping on any toes or engaging in any sort of trolling activity. This is a Cubs board, and it is frequented by Cubs fans, to discuss Cubs baseball. I don't mind if you have a differing opinion on issues, but if you do stuff like openly root for your team here (i.e. during Cubs/Brewers game, saying "CMON BREWERZZZ!" in the game thread) you are not welcome.
  4. Well it seems like we are having this "referendum" nearly every AB.
  5. Geo Soto. Too bad Pie and...Wuertz? are due up
  6. Those are the types of plays that work once every 4-5 times, and when it does, you feel like a complete moron for not stopping it. The other 3-4 times, Tony LaRussa likes like a moron.
  7. At this point, I hope Hill gets demoted to Iowa (he has options left right?) just so he can start without concern for his performance so he can get things together again.
  8. I can't believe how much differently I feel about this team in a span of only 7.11 games
  9. Good question. He'll probably get a day off at some point this weekend. Normally Sunday would be obvious, but its a night game.
  10. Lets play match the deal with a Cardinals equivalent! Soriano: Pujols Zambrano: Carpenter Ramirez: Rolen Lee: Edmonds Lilly: Meh nothing here Marquis: Mulder DeRosa: Encarnation
  11. Damn. For once I'd really like to see a division decided with healthy teams, or at least their key components. This has gotta crush Brewers fans the way DLee's injury in 06 crushed me.
  12. Well he did just hit a PH 2 run game winning HR the other day.
  13. Ugh. Hopefully the Cubs pitchers drink the water in St. Louis and turn into magical flukey pitchers. Maybe I'll put some more stuff here later. For now I'm going to go back into my GTA IV bubble and try to forget about this as long as possible.
  14. I said when we are winning we hadn't lost any of those games we should have won this season, and we would probably do so 4-5 times this year. Well this is one.
  15. Hate to say it, but Pie shouldn't be in the majors right now.
  16. Worst 4 hit day I've seen in awhile, because 2 of those hits ended up as outs on the basepaths, he was part of that dropped fly ball by Prince and now this.
  17. Kerry sucks. I want him in the setup role pronto. I don't wnat to lose Marmol in that spot but we might have to.
