So I can't get the game here in Florida. Are the flames outplaying the hawks like they did in the first half of game 1 or have the flames just got lucky on a couple of goals? -

lol How can you say that the bullpen as a whole needs more time to prove itself and then in the same breath say that the only real problem is Gregg, the arm that has the most experince at being a somewhat decent reliever besides Mamol? -
Yeah but he's an idiot to expose that side of him on the internet. A lot of people get momentarily get irrationally angry when they're on the losing side of a game like that. Only a rare few would chose to show the world how they deal with tough losses. What a loser.

Yay for me, I am going to be flying through the first game, driving through the second game (although will get the game on the radio, thanks to Gameday Audio), and won't get the channel that's playing the third game. Seriously, I live for days like this and I'm not going to be able to enjoy it. On a positive note, I'll be traveling to Florida, so don't feel sorry for me.

I have no idea why...but I've always liked Gary Sheffield the player. I liked him a lot when he came up with the Brewers and I was like 10 years old.

So...just a blip on the radar or a stretch of bad Z today? I guess its a big positive that we won a game started by bad Z. If we can weather the storm of his bad performances, and ride his good stretches, we should get a lot of W's.

If we used him in between when we werent winning people would be complaining about overwork. To hell with everyone else, Lou should do what I think is right. Overwork is when he's on pace for 90+ outings and 100+ innings. Had he thrown on Wednesday and then again today, nobody would be complaining about overwork. Exactly. You underestimate the opinions of many on this board.

OK these close games are fun Cubs, but we also enjoy the blowouts as well. The only blowout we've had this year was the 11-6 win over Houston, or MAYBE the 4-0 win over Colorado.

I'm telling you, Marmol doesn't scare me until you get a runner on 3rd with less than 2 outs. Then it becomes a much more flukey situation.
