I love Ramy and he certainly has his clutch moments but every once in awhile he comes up with RISP and has this wild big swinging mentality up there. I don't even really know what that means but it makes sense to me. -
I took a nap for the first 45 minutes of the game and woke up to a 6-0 Cubs lead. Now it's 6-5. Some sneak a sleeping pill in my drink.

Bradley walks, Jake Fox homers. That is if Marshall can get out of Marmol's mess he made himself. Sucks because Marmol usually gets out of those jams only because he's nearly unhittable. It seems like every hit he actually gives up ends up being costly because there are guys on base beforehand.

oh sexy. I think Olsen is making the leap to amongst the elite level of TEs this year (by that I mean top 5 receiving TE in the game). He was already pushing that level after last year but this year it will be clear.

ElCabs, what is the Brewer fan perspective about reacquiring Vargas after releasing him 2 years ago. Seems like a very odd move.

I agree with you but Lou has consistently not used his best available PHers earlier in the game.

100 ABs isn't enough to say definitively, but Jake Fox is starting to win me over in the "is he legit?" argument. He hasn't really had a prolonged period of ineffectiveness, his 7 HRs are spaced out pretty evenly, he seems to have enough of a plate discipline to work the count in his favor consistently. The strange thing is he has a pretty big reverse split going so far, hitting lefties at a .809 clip and righties at a .967 but that has to be attributed to sample size. I wish we could find a permanent position for him and see if he has a little Fontenot Syndrome in him or not, but for this year's club, he is actually quite valuable in his current role.

In what dimension? You think it was a clear ball? Without a doubt. This ump has had several bad calls tonight but not that one. Hmm, I'll look at it again but it looked slightly high but in the zone. Oh well what's done is done.

I was not very appreciative of that AB by Theriot there. Our offense just dies at this park. We did alright hitting last year but like 85% of the runs we scored that series were on a Ward HR and a random 7 run scoring outburst in the third game after playing exactly how we are playing today before.
