    I'm not devoted to him. I'll want Webb to start the next two games. First outdoor home game in my lifetime, throwback uniforms, snow bowl and a chance to maybe derail the Bears fan while pissing them off and most of the football loving world? [expletive] yeah. I'm pumped for this. And he didn't set this franchise back. If it would have been Tarvaris/Sage the last two years we don't get as close as we did, there probably would have been blackouts and the team would have been more likely to move. You realized most of th football loving world will not be pissed off about the Vikings, they will be pissed off because of the biggest douchebag in sports. In 10 years people will barely remember he one played for the Vikings

    Yeah actually trying to play through an injury instead of sitting at home and collecting $3M for the last 3 games from his couch. What a douche move. Having Joe Webb prepare as the starter all week as favre was declared out and then on the day of his life having him come out and push the Vikings to start him is a little douchey. I understand there are no guarantees in this business but I can't imagine how shitty Webb feels. Like someone said I hope he didn't fly his family out there for the game. I can't understand if the Vikings were still fighting for a playoff spot but they aren't. Anyways this doesn't really change my opinion now that Peterson is out. If we win or lose it's likely not solely because of old man favre.

    Who cares? It's Brett Favre all the time whenever he wants. Ed Werder said it was Favre that pushed for this to happen. I'm sure the Vikings would have liked to know there was a possibility that he could play a couple of days ago.

    All this leads me to believe that Brett Favre won't actually retire this year. I just cannot envision a scenario where Favre voluntarily stops playing football. He just won't die.

    Twitter is also saying that Favre is now considered a game time decision, which basically means that he's gonna play.
