I know I'm going to sound like a huge homer, so feel free to argue against this, but I'm starting to think the Bears were the only team that could stop the Packers offense. Since that offensive stinker against the Lions, the Packers scored 27 (with Flynn), 45, 10 (against the Bears), 21, 48, and 21 (14 offensive against Bears). Not to say that the Bears shut down the Packers the last time. They easily could have scored 30+ in the NFC title game. But the Bears really clamped down in the 2nd half and forced Rodgers into a very poor game. They seem to have either a game plan to slow them down or maybe just the personnel. Lets see how the Steelers D starts the 2nd half

Remember back in 2007 when we were all hanging around Orioles Hangout looking for Brian Roberts information, and the theme of the Orioles offseason was how they were selling everyone off and going through this youth movement? Everyone there was celebrating tanking and building the right way and not dealing with declining former stars signing with the Orioles to lead them to 75 win seasons just to get extra fans in the park? Does this not seem like what they are doing this offseason? After 3 horrible 95+ loss seasons in a row, the fans on that board seem to be more than ok with these signings of Lee and Guerrero. -

look to see a lot more of that after tonight. Boozer hasn't done his part in making teams pay for that. Also, it's easier to successfully double team someone when Keith Bogans is on the floor.

We just don't have it tonight. Never got in any sort of flow on offense. GS's defense is playing the best game of their lives it feels like. Rose has been mostly awful tonight. We can still win, but if we lose, no worry just chalk it up to one of those bad games.

Its all just posturing right now. Unless the Cardinals are complete idiots and do not understand the value of Pujols, they'll pay. They wouldnt have signed Holliday last offseason if they were just going to turn around and be unable to pay Pujols this season. I think this is all just posturing to get the just deal to appease both sides. I think at the end of everything we'll find out that there was almost no chance Albert was going to leave STL. We can always hope though.

Well it was a fantastic game, but a failure as we got 0 points out of a game I'd say we slightly outplayed Vancouver. Not to say Vancouver is not the better team, they are, but the Hawks showed they can play with them. Now hopefully the Hawks have a chance to prove it again. Hawks remain in 9th place in the conference.

Have you been watching the whole game? I try not to get into bitching about the refs (I know, I fail a lot), but this game has been atrocious. Although the Canucks have benefit most from the refs, there have been a few things in favor of the Hawks that have been odd as well.

Dammit, I'm getting into " I just want at least 1 point from this game" mode. It's not like giving Vancouver a point really effects us either way.

Another questionable penalty on the Hawks, another crappy kill effort and the Canucks get it right back. This is beginning to be a good game despite the crappy officiating on both sides.

Nice, that's the kind of crappy soft goal I've come to expect from Luongo against the Hawks :)
