  1. Predictions for WC Weekend: Packers over Eagles Saints over NFC West Jets over Colts Chiefs over Ravens Sets up: Packers @ Falcons Saints @ Bears Jets @ Patriots Chiefs @ Steelers I won't predict past there.
  2. Yeah if the Bears somehow got the NFC West team in the 2nd round it would be the greatest thing even, even though it means they are playing well enough to beat the defending champs. Can you imagine St. Louis coming to Soldier Field. It would feel like a regular season game to me and I would have to fight really hard not to mentally believe we got a bye to the NFC Championship game.
  3. Lovie says the injuries are: Nick Roach (shoulder), Chris Harris (stinger), Major Wright (some kind of leg injury). Doesn't believe any of them are serious and all should play in 2 weeks.
  4. The more I think about it....Guys, this wasn't the Bears offense today. They may have "tried" by keeping their starters in all game, but that play calling was not what we'll see in 2 weeks. This really did look like the offense of the first part of the season. Cutler took a ton of deep dropbacks, was looking to push the ball down field, was using checkdowns when nothing was happening down the field. And furthermore, for the first time in a long time the running/passing play calls were really uneven in favor of passing. I think someone pointed out that since the bye, the Bears have run the most running plays in the league I think. Today they maybe ran 20 times to 39 passes. I think it's pretty obvious that the Bears decided to try, but tried to win using a style of offense that isn't suited for them to score a lot of points, and they didn't. Give credit to the Packers defense of course, but I would think we'd have more points scored had we been doing the things that got us to 11-4.
  5. I'm usually among the biggest Packer loathers on this board, and I am too apathetic to be mean.
  6. I'm gonna completely overlook Cutler's performance today but give tons of credit to the defense today.
  7. Good luck (not too much luck) in the playoffs.
  8. Instead of about a 75% chance of facing Philly, it goes down to about 50%. Philly or the Saints, just about 50/50 chance.
  9. Haha I was just going to predict an INT. See you in two weeks Bears.
  10. If Cutler led him into the end zone there, it's probably a TD
  11. 4 down territory, 1 TO left, 51 secs left. Lets do this
  12. Knox has had the worst game of any WR in NFL history.
  13. I was actually gonna point out that I hadn't seen one of those Cutler-Knox, confusion looks in awhile.
  14. Probably because every time he's running he's in shock about how quickly the pocket broke down and forced him to scramble.
  15. If the Bears somehow get a TD here, I'd love to see them go for 2. There's no reason to go to OT.
  16. Nothing like seeing Cutler with a head of steam charging for a first down in a meaningless game.
  17. Even the special teams looks disinterested. How did that dude get behind all the Bears and catch that punt
  18. At this point I'm thinking the Bears are purposely trying to throw off their playoff opponent but having Cutler look so shell shocked against the blitz. This looks like Week 4 Cutler, not post-bye Cutler. The last half of the season, the Bears have moved the ball against the blitz, and then all the sudden in this game they can't even call a play to get the ball quickly to a receiver. Everything is 7 step drops again.
  19. Come on guys, we need to sweep the division. Lets go!!
  20. Awesome tackle to save a 1st down by Tim Jennings.
  21. The whole evaluation should be a wash. I am starting to look at this like a preseason game. Vanilla play calling, routes are being run less than crisply. I'm guessing as a player, they'd just rather this game just end then have to put it all out there to win a meaningless game. I could get mad with all the stuff we've seen today but its just not worth it. 2 weeks off after today. I can't wait.
  22. That said, I think Knox took stupid pills before the game today. He looks awful.
  23. No its not. That was within 5 yards where contact is allowed.
  24. If the Packers win, I'm gonna give these odds of first round opponent: Eagles 50% (I'd say the Packers/Eagles game is 50/50) Saints 47% Seahawks/Rams 3%
  25. YES YOU FINALLY SCORED A TD AGAINST A MOSTLY DISINTERESTED TEAM. I think today's performance has shown who the better team is. I can't be excited for taking a late lead in the most important game of the season? I don't care who the better team is. At the beginning of the season, I thought it was the Packers. Now I don't know. I just want to make the playoffs. I'm just messing with you. You should be happy, the season is on the line and a win is just as satisfying whether its against the 07 Pats or the 08 Lions if it means going to the playoffs.
