  1. I think the Bears are stealing from the Broncos playbook
  2. Bears offense consists of Marion Barber running the ball up the gut on 75% of all plays.
  3. Hester and Defense
  4. Offensive line is just so awesome.
  5. This Bears game is boring as hell. I'm not particularly excited watching it even when the Bears do well. I would be slightly more excited if the Vikings hadnt just deflated the Bears playoff chances. Now that the Lions managed to beat Minnesota, we now have to hope that either the Bears beat Green Bay or if we don't we likely have to hope that the Lions beat GB so they finish with a better record than us and Atlanta. That is all assuming we beat Denver, Seattle and Minnesota.
  6. Bears have to win now with Atlanta and Detroit winning. A loss would put a significant blow to our playoff hopes. We'd have to go 3-0 the rest of the season as Atlanta probably isnt losing to anyone but NO in their last 3 games.
  7. Blatent missed facemask not called hurts the Bears playoff chances
  8. And Webb fumbles it away and the Lions win. Unreal One of the Lions players with a BLATENT facemask on Webb and its not called. Mod Edit: Swearing is not allowed.
  9. OMG Vikings at the 2 yard line with 9 seconds left. First and goal down 6. A Vikings win would absolutely make my day regardless of how the Bears do. I'm not even watching the Bears game lol
  10. Here come the false starts. Screw Hanie sucking, this offensive line is brutally bad without Chris Williams.
  11. If Minnesota wins this (they are 31 yards away) Detroit is not making the playoffs. My prediction
  12. DOWN GOES TEBOW! Minnesota driving for the win over Detroit. Carolina was 27 yards and a 2 point conversion from tying but just turned the ball over on downs.
  13. And then Ryan throws a 75 yard TD pass 2 plays later, and its an 8 point game. Dammit. Way to blow a 16 point lead Carolina.
  14. Carolina misses a 37 yard FG that would have given them the lead with 5 minutes left. That missed FG might ultimately end up keeping us out of the playoffs (I know I'm being dramatic :))
  15. Falcons now winning 24-23 with the ball ugh
  16. Hub for some reason is making the Bears one of his 2 "locks of the week"
  17. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/12/11/report-persistent-chatter-jerry-angelo-could-retire/ Angelo already denied the report this morning but obviously that means absolutely nothing.
  18. 16-7 Carolina now
  19. Funny thing that if the Falcons Bears and Giants lose our playoff odds probably look ever so slightly better than they did going in. If the Falcons lose, this game is not the do or die we thought it was. Probably should win though.
  20. What does that mean? They've never seen testosterone levels that high?
  21. So much for Detroit giving us the tiebreaker by losing to Minnesota today. Scoreboard check: Det 14 Min 0 Atl 7 Car 0
  22. Without even clicking that link, I'll ask: who won the Big Ten that year? I know who win the whole thing that year :)
  23. Bet you Indy fans thought the same way about Manning.
  24. Haha that's hilarious. I know it's common place to be skeptical about news reports and such, but there's just no way that ESPN would move forward with this big a story and giving it this kind of coverage if there was even a shred of doubt that the info they received is true. This isn't a tweet were talking about. Meanwhile I sit and wait hoping that one day Aaron Rodgers can get caught doing something so stupid.
  25. Yup. Baseball cube used to be pretty much the only mainstream (in the baseball world) site with minor league stats (except milb.com) and had a niche there until baseball reference took over. On a similar topic, as a guy who loves statistics, I still occasionally get wowed about how much data you can find on baseball reference.
