  1. OMG Field goal range. Time for a turnover most likely.
  2. lol I was about to laugh about Hester finally returning one and losing 5 yards. Think the Bears will get at least to the 35 for a 52 yard FG attempt
  3. Will he really make a difference? Is it even possible? It's more possible than Hanie putting it together IMO, even if we're talking 0.5% to 2%
  4. Can you imagine if Hanie had somehow led us to the Super Bowl, how bad that game would have been. Hanie vs. the Steelers defense? Hah
  5. I cant believe I let sully sell me on hanie being decent.
  6. Agreed, and I never thought Id ask for McCown to come in the game.
  7. Get rid of the ball you little bitch
  8. [expletive] Hester, you are our only chance to score points. At least attempt to bring one back. I don't care if you get leveled as soon as you catch it and fumble it away. It's a risk we have to take.
  9. No false starts yet or dropped passes but a good imitation none the less.
  10. Maybe. Did they show video of him throwing or something? Because I could see a difference in thumb use between lobbing some passes 8-10 yards to see how the thumb responds, and throwing crisp lasers 20 yards down the field.
  11. 3 false starts on 3rd down for the Bears. 2 on Garza Haha and then another penalty on the line on 3rd down as Hanie makes another awful pass. 2 awful passes in this 3 and out.
  12. Yeah they have their 3rd string RB running slants so that they have a chance to complete passes.
  13. Lombardi was on Simmons podcast this week and he suggested that Cutler is the leagues MVP for the way he was able to make that crappy ass offense that is ignored by the GM and turning it into something that was actually starting to become slightly above average.
  14. Nice...a fair catch at the 9 yard line. At that point you might as well take the risk of downing it at the one with the possible benefit of getting a touchback. Not that it mattered with the penalty
  15. Cutler really needs to find a way to come back from the GB game. Not that we'll win even with him but it will save us the embarassment of being shutout by one of the league's worst pass D's
  16. Haha, another false start on 3rd and short. Beautiful This is what I mean about the Bears just playing stupid football and making idiotic mistakes that shouldnt happen since Cutler's been out. They continually shoot themselves in the foot. It's quite amazing actually.
  17. lol...WRs you dont need to completely suck....doesn't help to add a degree of difficulty to our backup QBs play.
  18. and as I whine about nothing going right for the Bears, Izzy blocks a chipshot FG. Nice
  19. You are right. Normally I roll my eyes, but seriously nothing has gone right. Cutler out the rest of the season, Forte out a couple of weeks, Williams out for the season, the screen pass in the red zone that randomly deflects to a Raider, the onside kick that somehow just barely bounces away from a bear to a raider, gould missing a gimme fg for him, ball deflecting off of williams hands miraculously into a defenders hands, Barber not lining up properly at the line costing us a TD, tons of strangely bad calls against the Bears in each game, Lions causing a fumble with the Vikings one yard from winning a critical game, Panthers missing a 37 yard FG to give them the lead late in the 4th against Atlanta, etc.. A lot of those are player errors but are mostly ones that shouldnt and doesnt usually happen. I know its whining, but Bears have had a horrible month, so I am allowed to whine.
  20. Hell I just wish we had a QB that got protected by our offensive line!
  21. YOU TOUCHED ST TEBOW. YOU GET A FLAG
  22. Why? What would you suggest? They've opened up the offense for Hanie, and he's shown that he cant make the passes needed. They are conceding that this is going to be an extremely low scoring game so they are being super conservative and hoping they can break off a couple of long runs/screen passes for big gain.
  23. I gotta admit, I never ever miss a Bears game, even when they were terrible in 09. But I have benn flipping between playing NBA 2k12 (Lakers vs. Bulls with Rip :)) and catching a couple of plays the entire first quarter. It's amazing how quickly the excitement can go away. After the SD game I was so happy and excited for the rest of the season. Now I woke up today and said 'oh yeah the bears play today.'
