I guess I just dont understand how someone can look so bad the first 3 quarters every week and then randomly turn into a monster in the 4th. Hopefully the onside kick somehow takes 8 seconds so we get to the 2 minute warning. It won't though. If we recover, they will have a chance. If we go 3 and out, the Broncos get the ball with 30 seconds left. Probably enough time to engineer a FG drive in Denver.

7th??? Um...isn't it more like 5th right now? No... a win puts us in a 3 way tie and because Detroits win was over a division opponent, they currently have the tiebreaker over the Bears. With the way the tiebreakers are for 3 way ties, that's enough to knock the Bears out in favor of Detroit and Atlanta, despite going 2-1 against those 2 teams.

I don't think he would ever allow Gould to take a 57 yard FG unless it was in Denver, with both offenses horrible so that 3 points is a big deal and a miss doesn't hurt that much despite giving them good field position.

Why not attempt a 56 yard FG? A make sadly puts a dagger in the game. Even if he misses the Broncos arent moving the ball. The last couple of times Robbie has attempted a FG over 50, he's cleared it by a couple of yards.
