  1. I was starting to wonder if you were banned from the Bulls thread or something.
  2. Believe it or not, most if not all teams have a slower stretch built into the season. For instance look at the Clippers. They just played their first back to back of the season last night and have already had 2 days off in between times I think 4 times. The Bulls have played 5 back to backs already and have had 2 days off between games once. If u look at the Bulls April schedule, they have quite a bit of off days built in. So it does get better.
  3. That's because they have worked very hard on making sure they never commit any fouls, and those stupid refs are just botching all these calls.
  4. He can't shoot, he's a hell of an athlete though. And by can't shoot, I mean he might be the worst jump shooting guard I've ever seen. Tony Allen Actually, that's true. Wall has a ways to go to catch up with Allen.
  5. My less-than-impartial vote: OK that was better than Novak's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=No_xww6BUnM
  6. I'm not disagreeing. They are a pretty good team and I am rooting for them to make the tourney, although the odds are getting longer. With that said, Michigan shouldn't be losing to them at home (and luckily they didn't). That's what happens when one side shooting 50% and the other 33%
  7. Not that it means much but Barry Melrose picked the Blackhawks to play the Bruins in the Stanley Cup Finals this season.
  8. Zach Novak just had one of the best white guy dunks that I've seen in some time.
  9. C'mon Michigan, how you gonna lose to Northwestern at home?
  10. Assuming you mean Brewer, Lucas, James. Watson said he'd likely be back Monday. Rip's day-to-day groin issue is apparently more serious then first thought because if it really was d2d, you'd think he'd be able to play through the pain instead of making the Bulls play their 3rd string PG and backup SG 40+ minutes on the 3rd night of a back-to-back-to-back.
  11. Brunette's been disappointing for sure, but he's still on pace for something like 35-40 points this year. And as much as people like to criticize the "toughness" acquisitions, it has benefited the team. The disappointing thing about the Blackhawks this year has been the defense. I think with the additions we made to the 2nd and 3rd defensive pairing we'd be much deeper, but I still see the same things that plagued the Hawks last year like turnovers. Bad goaltending is a reason too, but the result is only 3 teams in the West have allowed more goals than the Hawks. I still contend this team is overall better and deeper, and the ultimate reason why the team improved in the offseason will be (hopefully) felt when we make an acquisition due to our cap space in the next 6 weeks.
  12. I am shocked that someone in Alabama apparently knows how to use Photoshop.
  13. Sure but the name was surely taken from the Futurama character.
  14. he'll probably add another "tough guy" and ignore adding talent. just like the offseason. true, and his stupid offseason improved the hawks to 2nd in the conference at the moment.
  15. Oh, I'm fine with that then.
  16. Bodog was recently taken over by something called Bovada (if you type in bodog.com it redirects you there), and all the accounts on bodog all work there so its still legit, but bodog is kinda slow on payouts, sometimes taking 2 weeks until you see the money. Someone recommended the site 5dimes.com to me and said the lines are better than bodogs (more reflective of vegas odds which are more accurate and less prone to moving during the week), and the payouts are quicker. I haven't actually tried it yet but the reviews seem positive.
  17. Are people trying to argue that OSU's schedule or resume was better than LSU's? OK State big wins: #7 Stanford at neutral site #13 Baylor at home #15 Kansas State at home #16 Oklahoma at home OK State loss: 6-7 Iowa State on the road LSU big wins: #1 Alabama on the road #4 Oregon at neutral site #5 Arkansas at home #17 West Virginia on the road #19 Georgia at neutral site #25 Auburn at home LSU loss: 12-1 Alabama at neutral site Seems pretty clear to me that LSU should be #2 despite their disaster yesterday.
  18. Not understanding Kerry's mindset here. I have no problem with him not wanting to give the Cubs a discount on its own, but its weird to be demanding whatever he's demanding a year after taking substantially less than he's worth to come here and go on and on about how he wants to be a Cub for life and if the Cubs don't want him he's going to retire etc. Then this year comes along and he's playing hardball. Could it be that the hometown discount was only for the previous regime? Or maybe, Hendry and Wood had an understanding when he signed last year that Hendry couldn't afford to give Kerry more than $1.5 mil, but assuming things went as planned the Cubs would have more money available this offseason and Kerry would get his fair rate. Just seems weird that this might not happen, as all the right things were said by both sides up until recently.
  19. Here's the full AP Poll: 1. Alabama (54) 2. LSU (1) 3. Oklahoma State (4) 4. Oregon 5. Arkansas 6. Southern Cal 7. Stanford 8. Boise St. 9. South Carolina 10. Wisconsin 11. Michigan St. 12. Michigan 13. Baylor 14. TCU 15. Kansas St. 16. Oklahoma 17. West Virginia 18. Houston 19. Georgia 20. Southern Miss. 21. Virginia Tech 22. Clemson 23. Florida St. 24. Nebraska 25. Cincinnati Others receiving votes: BYU 49, Auburn 40, N. Illinois 33, Missouri 22, Texas 15, Rutgers 3, N. Dakota St. 2, Penn St. 2, Virginia 1.
  20. @McMurphyCBS: LSU's Jordan Jefferson said he believes Tigers should be No. 1 in AP poll
  21. Coaches poll out too 1. Alabama (59) 2. LSU 3. Oklahoma State 4. Oregon 5. Arkansas 6. Boise State 7. Stanford 8. South Carolina 9. Michigan 10. Michigan State 11. Wisconsin 12. Baylor 13. TCU 14. Houston 15. Oklahoma 16. Kansas State 17. Virginia Tech 18. West Virginia 19. Southern Miss 20. Georgia 21. Cincinnati 22. Clemson 23. Florida State 24. Nebraska 25. BYU Also receiving votes: Northern Illinois 36, Missouri 33, Texas 29, Auburn 28, Rutgers 11, Penn State 10, Texas A&M 5, Virginia 4, Temple 2, Washington 2, Arkansas State 1, Louisiana-Lafayette 1, Ohio 1, Florida 1, Mississippi State 1, Notre Dame 1
  22. AP Poll is out. LSU got 1 first place vote, and Ok State got 4. 1. Alabama (54) 2. LSU (1) 3. Oklahoma State (4) 4. Oregon 5. Arkansas
  23. OK State will be 3rd. Right, however if Alabama was a little more sloppy, and their defense not as dominant (lets say a score of 13-10), I can see AP voters voting to make OK State their champ. If the majority decide that they aren't title worthy, I agree they will drop to 3rd.
  24. At that price I'll pick it up regardless. I had no idea it was that cheap. I was trying to confirm last year, and they were actually offering it as a $10 add on if you ordered MLB.tv. Not sure if they'll bring that back this year. Yea the current website is rather confusing. What percentage of a given team's games are actually broadcast? For instance, how many Daytona games can you get with the package? Peoria?
