  1. Well that got out of hand in a hurry. Would be nice if Michigan shot more than 0 FTAs today.
  2. lol Ohio State has 10 offensive rebounds (23 overall). Michigan has 10 defensive rebounds (12 overall) Burke is having the dumbest game that I've seen him have in a Michigan uniform.
  3. Michigan - the team that shoots a million 3's and makes like 20% of them
  4. Who is uglier: Thad Matta or John Beilein?
  5. On my phone, without looking...... Nick Cafardo? You win!
  6. Take one guess who wrote that article.
  7. Anyways, I have a feeling the Bulls will lose tomorrow. I know they will really want this, but so will Miami, just to shut up the people who think the Bulls are better and can beat Miami in the playoffs. Either way, I hope I don't get too worked up either way as we all saw how much the regular season meant in the playoffs. If we lose to a healthy Heat team in Miami without likely Deng, so be it.
  8. Hard to trade a $12 mil a year player whose playing like garbage. I don't think you would have gotten any offers worth taking.
  9. Ugh, I wouldn't have fouled them there. If he misses the tough layup you get it back for free.
  10. I think the refs were so confused as to why Minnesota was going for 2 down 3 with 4 seconds left and just assumed they were going for the and 1 and felt obligated to call it.
  11. The Score is laughing about how this dude doesn't even have a Wikipedia page. Meh I'm just glad we have someone in place so we can plan the offseason now. Excited that it's not a Jerry Angelo offseason and anxious to see how this guy handles the team.
  12. I keep rooting for Northwestern to turn it around and stay alive in NCAA discussion but they just keep losing close games in a crushing manner. Oh well. Is their recruiting any good the last few years or is this like their last chance to make the tourney for awhile?
  13. Decent player but a little underwhelming if this was the big C we needed that we saved all the cap space for. He'll help if he can stay healthy which I guess is something he has issues with.
  14. Should we just rename this thread "discuss the Celtics with SSR"?
  15. fml, can we go more than 5 minutes without a damn injury. I've never season so many injuries to start a season. None of them (expect maybe Deng's) have been serious thankfully, but its the sheer number of them at once that makes it so frustrating.
  16. Slightly on topic but not really. Was looking at the Cubs payroll situation....is it true that after next season, Soriano will be the only Cub on the books that is due to make more than $7 mil per season?
  17. The Bulls and Heat almost had a rivalry in the mid 00's with Some good storylines but it quickly fizzled out. They played in consecutive playoff series with altercations in both series (posey/hinrich, nocioni etc). Lowly Bulls lost to eventual champs in 6 hard fought games, bulls destroyed champs on ring night the next year followed by bulls sweeping heat out of playoffs. Then a year later it was all set up with the Rose/Beasley picks but obviously that never materialized, both teams turned over a lot of their roster and the potential rivalry fizzled.
  18. It has the foundation of a rivalry but by no means is it a rivalry. We're talking about 2 regular season games (counting the last regular season game of last year when pacers ruined bulls quest to go 16-0 in division), and a 5 game playoff series. 9 months ago there was absolutely nothing between the two teams. Sure theyve played us tough but to the Bulls at this point they are an annoying little brother that fights back. I just think rivalry is one of those words that gets thrown around too easily. One final example...I purchase a small chunk of a season ticket package from a member on NSBB. When we did our lottery to divvy up the games, the two Pacers games were amongst the last ones chosen, picked amongst games against Toronto and Detroit. If it was a true rivalry those would have been snatched up quickly, and I don't think 1 regular season game will change that just yet. In time though.
  19. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA ZING!
  20. It's quite simple. The Pacers give the Bulls a tough time when we play and like to say that they are better than the Bulls and they know they can beat us. Plus quite a few of their players are annoying goons. Which players said that? Granger had some quote last night about them expecting to beat the Bulls. Last year during the series Vogel made a lot of comments about the Pacers playing better than the Bulls and saying that they should be up 3-1 instead of down 1-3. I know he just says this stuff so his players believe it and to get the media talking, but he said it nonetheless. I feel like Granger was simply saying the Pacers think they can compete with and beat anyone. Don't think he meant it as an insult to the Bulls. Vogel always talks with a lot of confidence, so I get why that annoys fans of other teams. I don't think he meant it as an insult either. My point was that along with frustrating games against the Pacers, those super confident remarks they make irritate Bulls fans.

  22. There is no way Boras was going to accept a 4 year deal. Because that's what it was...the chances of them continuing to year 5 of the contract were slim to none regardless of how the first 4 years turned out.

  24. Hah, I saw the title of that column and without even reading the article I thought it was about an offensive line and/or wide receivers. The title of the column: 'Jay Cutler is missing the extra 'something' best QBs have'
  25. Wow thats only a $20 mil dropoff. I honestly thought it was more. I thought we were looking at like $85-90 mil.
