Well it certainly helps that the 94 Bulls still had a superstar on their team. There's no one that comes close to peak Scottie Pippen on this Bulls team. Comparing the teams just for fun (w/o Rose and MJ) Armstrong > Watson Meyers < Hamilton Pippen > Deng Grant > Boozer Cartwright < Noah Bench: Kukoc = Gibson (debatable of course, Kukoc was a scorer but mediocre to poor defender at this point and Gibson is the opposite) Longley > Asik Kerr = Korver (at least that season) Blount = Butler (not enough PT to say Butler is better) Scott Williams > Scalabrine Paxson > Lucas Hard to compare Brewer and James with Wennington and Perdue since they obviously play much different positions.

Is anyone else slightly disappointed that Starlin has gone homerless in April after all the talk about him hitting for more power this year? His SLG is the exact same as last year (.433), he is on pace for the same number of doubles as last year (36), slightly more triples (14 instead of 9) and of course 10 less homers. It's only a month, and of course he's been our 2nd best hitter this year so far, but I was hoping for a little more to start the year. -
Awesome! I've long hated this. The excitement for the series is ruined by playing 2 seperate series each year when you play the White Sox as many times as most NL teams not in the Central. Also part of the fun of these series are bragging rights, and its kind of hard to do that when the teams finish 3-3, which is likely in a H/H series (2-1 at home, 1-2 on road). The BP Cup is pretty stupid, but awarding the trophy to a team that goes 3-3 is even more stupid. I love this!

Haha what? Almost everything I've read/heard/seen in the media has been about how the Bulls are probably still going to beat Philly. Not sure what a blowout will do to change their opinions about the Bulls long term (aka rest of playoffs). Btw the Bulls were 5-2 against the Sixers, Celtics and Heat without Rose (ok really 4-2 I'm counting the 1-13 game from Rose) and 4-1 against Sixers, Hawks and Heat wo Rose. I know regular season and playoffs are different but it's nice to know that we've beaten each team before without rose. They will get killed without Rose vs the heat. Thank you captain obvious

And don't forget Chris Paul who came back to dominate at the same position Yes but Chris Paul isnt as explosive as he was before the surgery. He is still a great player but he needed to adjust his game a little when he came back. It's more than likely Rose will have to do the same. He can still be a superstar by its gonna take work to his game if previous results are any indication.

I feel like [expletive] but I cant even imagine how Rose feels. His whole life is basketball. When he lost to Miami last year he pretty much locked himself in his house for 2 weeks and wouldnt see anyone. I remember reading something about how Rose was really depressed about all the injuries this year and how friends say he hasnt been himself for awhile now because he cant handle sitting these games out. So what happens now? Basketball is taken away from Rose for the next year. I really really feel bad for him right now.

I'd be rather surprised that NBC 4 Miami has better inside sources at a Chicago hospital or the Bulls themselves... Maybe, but not impossible. If it was some podunk news station maybe. But the fact that it's NBC in a major city with interest in the status of Rose, it makes me feel like it probably is legit, but im still skeptical until i see it from more
