I'm surprised she married you after this. I haven't seen the movie. I couldn't even sit through that whole clip I posted. The team was flipping channels in the clubhouse one day and came upon the movie. They adopted the Z hand size from that. They all thought the movie was horrible. Now the fans are doing it too. That doesn't mean that you have to take up 1/3 of every page you post on. Knug Foo Panda flashed it to Cutch at the all star game. -
Why? Dempster was within his rights to torpedo the trade. He exercised those rights. How can you support punishing some one that has done nothing wrong? The thing that he may very well have done wrong is lie to his bosses about his intentions. I dont understand Dempster's motivation for doing that though? I'm not saying he couldn't have lied, I'm just not sure why he would do that.

It's obvious Dempster is giving this game to Pittsburgh because it hurts the Braves' chances in the Wild Card.

Yeah I bet they are increasingly confident knowing they are the only team Dempster seems willing to go to, and knowing that the Cubs will get laughed at if they try to hold out for Zach Lee any longer.

0% if Garza doesn't come back strong very soon. WSR seems to think we can pull the ol' switcheroo and slip Soriano in there for Dempster and finish the trade.

The problem is the 'has to be conclusive to overturn' thing. So you are putting a heavy bias on what the umpire originally thinks he sees, and not letting the umpire use the replay to make the correct judgement. Even more annoying is that in the NFL, it seems to go back and forth between the refs actually following the 'conclusive to overturn' rule' or not.

Rizzo has gotten a hit in 18 of his 21 games this year. Pretty sweet. Hasn't gotten an XBH since before the ASB though. Overall if this is the "pitchers adjusting" period, he's handling it pretty damn well. -
The only big loss given who we got to replace him is Asik. It immediately gets rid of our best advantage besides Rose which is 2 lockdown defensive bigs coming off our bench. I think that's a huge loss. I don't mind the Bellineli signing. I don't think he's gonna give us the spacing we got with Korver out there but he will be able to do a little more overall than Korver. Butler instead and Brewer is a downgrade next year i think but long term it's the right move. Hinrich for Watson is a near wash although they do similar things. Overall the bench will be worse and not as game changing as it was last year. But I don't think it's gonna lose us games either.

It's OK to reach for the stars as long as you grab and asteroid or two on the way down when you miss. For the last time, we are not dumping Reed Johnson on a team that calls to inquire about Castro.
