    I still can't believe the Hawks spent 9 of their 13 minutes with the lead on the PK. How does that even happen?

    It's the Cubs fault I'm so angsty. The Bulls will be lucky to be playing in a month so I was counting on the Hawks to keep me invested in sports until June.

    Pretty sure the only St Louis team to play a Chicago team in the playoffs are the Blues and Hawks.

    So many negative emotions I'm dealing with. First the fact that were down 0-2. Then the fact that it's to a St. Louis team. Thn the fact that we were a combined 1:51 away from being up 2-0. Mix that in with the fact that the Hawks completely lost their composure and are decidedly the bad guys to everyone watching and the finally we are the bad guys and the good guys are laughing at us in victory anyways.

    I can't believe the Bulls might be alive in the playoffs longer than the Hawks.

    I agree. Completely uncalled for. And when most teams go stupid its when they are either trying to establish a tone in a game/series or when they are losing big and trying to goon it up. The Hawks took the damn lead in a critical playoff game and the preceded to goon it up. WTH?

    the most painful thing is that we killed off 2.5 minutes of 5 on 3, and then killed off 4 minutes and 50 seconds of power play and almost stole an undeserved victory before getting the rug pulled out from under us. To compound the pain, we previously gave up a goal with less than a second left in the 1st period and were 1:45 from winning game 1 before conceding the tying goal and subjecting me to an additional 2 hours of hockey before letting me down. I know everyone already knows this [expletive], but it makes me feel better to type it all out.

    Does he have any priors? That might make the difference between whether he returns this series or not.

    I dont know, the only way I can console myself is reminding myself we won 2 cups in 4 years helped mightily by a shorthanded goal with 11 seconds left and 2 goals in 17 seconds to take the lead.

    Well if hockey games were 118 minutes long we'd be sitting pretty right now.

    Lets take the lead and then start throwing ourselves at other guys. Seriously we took the lead with 13 minutes left and then spent 8 of those last 13 minutes on the PK.

    Welp, probably going to lose this one without Seabrook and then no Seabs for 1-2 games after that. This series is in BIG trouble

    Well any remnants of respect in this rivalry is now gone. Hawks are going to have to kill off 45 secs of 5 on 3 and probably 4 more minutes of PP
