    So according to Wittmeyer Arrieta is open to a "reasonable" extension. Do we need to see more, or do we lock him up as soon as we can?

    I hate that Rizzo, Alcantara and Baez aren't hitting all that well at the same time.

    He's going to be the best of them all. This is why I was wondering why everyone was so down on him in the offseason. The dude just oozes talent. If he can stay on the field he's a top 10 prospect IMO possibly top 3

    Really good defensively, making a reasonable amount of contact. .288 BABIP is probably a smidge low for his skill set. But he's not going to hit for huge average. He's going to draw walks, hit for average power, run the bases well, and play good defense. Thanks. I obviously know BA is not any sort of legit measuring stick but I didn't make the effort to look up the full statistical breakdown. 4-5 wins is excellent

    Someone who watches the Cubs more than me: how has Alcantara looked recently? I see his average has dipped below .230. Is he having good ABs?

    Out of his six straight K's, three were chasing awful pitches, two were getting overwhelmed by stuff in the zone, one was being overly patient and looking at hittable strikes. Thanks

    Haven't been able to watch much of Baez the last 2 games. Is his approach terrible? Is he just getting behind in counts and not recovering, is he just going up there flailing?
