  1. We should just start calling them Jaxson A and Jaxson B
  2. http://thedailybanter.com/2014/07/espn-commentator-says-women-shouldnt-provoke-men-domestic-violence/ That's gotta be a fire-able offense, no?
  3. ahahahhaha the pitcher laughs as javy rounds the bases "Haha I just gave up a home run to an all time great. I can't wait to tell my grandkids someday"
  4. Oh well we totally schooled them on Tuesday.
  5. Out of curiosity, how do they determine if a DH is used in the minors? Does it depend on the home team? If one team chooses to have the pitcher bat, can the other use a DH?
  6. Julius Peppers and Major Wright were holding that defense together
  7. I know they want to balance out the conferences but if Quebec gets a team does Detroit move back? I doubt it, I guess Columbus? Seattle probably gets the other team or maybe Las Vegas. I hope Seattle gets a team so they can build that arena and get the Sonics back. Seattle IMO is a 4 sport city, its a travesty they only have 2 teams (and the Sounders who they treat like a big 4 team)
  8. if that happened it would be a sign from the gods that bryant is one of them
  9. No Bears make Bill Barnwell's top 50 trade value guys, only Cutler and Jeffery make the honorable mentions. http://grantland.com/features/nfl-trade-value-assets-part-2/ (this is only part 2) Kind of surprised Marshall isn't even mentioned. I get that he's over 30 and just signed a contract extension but the guy is one of the best 5-6 receivers in football and he's a very advanced stats friendly guy. Should at least be in the discussion with Cutler and Jeffery. As for the other Bears, Forte is past the standard RB prime, Long isn't advance stats friendly enough (based on FO at least), Houston just signed a big contract extension that lowers his value a bit and Briggs, Allen and Tillman are all way too old.
  10. I highly doubt Soler will be in there tonight considering he played the whole game last night and the move was announced late and it's a day game. Could be wrong though.
  11. Ahh, I found the artcile: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp07/columns/story?id=2956884
  12. I like watching them all carrying giant flatscreens to their dorm rooms. Then I'll read the first 1-2 fluff pieces (remember the infamous John Clayton article talking about the art that was watching the Bears offense with Rex to Hester pre-2007, a season Grossman had the starting job for 3 games before being replaced?). Then it gets boring, then I get really excited for the first preseason game, make time to watch it and then get bored after the first 2 series. Then I get excited for the 3rd preseason game, because its the big one, before finally it's week 1.
  13. There's too much Cubs positivity going around Starlin Castro is hitting .230/.316/.280/.596 with 0 HRs in his last 27 games (since June 21)
  14. It does piss me off. But this year the Hawks are playing out there again during spring training, looks like I will have to make my Cubs trip that week. It really is a nice stadium in a nice area with bars and restaurants and free parking. It will be filled with Hawks fans. The problem with the Coyotes is its so far away from the center of metro Phoenix, so people in the East Valley have to drive 50 miles to see a game. The Cardinals play right near there as well, but most of their games are on Sunday's when traffic isn't bad. yeah i never understood why they built their stadium in the far upper left corner of a sprawling, fairly evenly populated metro area.
  15. Damn...Olt has stuck out 34 times in his last 59 ABs...with 5 hits
  16. I've never had more fun following a 90 loss team
  17. Rizzos OPS is up to .924 and he's on pace for 41 HR this year
