  1. dafuq it was going pretty great until like 4 days ago. and a big reason for it to turn bad wasn't predictable at all (that indestructible castro and rizzo would suddenly get hurt within 3-4 days of eachother) That combined with Javy having a .389 OPS his last 20 games and Alcantara with a .496 OPS over the last 12 games.
  2. Had Rueben Randle and Larry Fitzgerald and needed 4.0 points to win, got only 3.8. Lost in a second league by .26 points. I'm so thrilled football is back *NCAMFT*
  3. Bet he'd return to Chicago to play for the White Sox over the Cubs. Guy was a Sox fan growing up, and had multiple anti-Cubs messages on his MySpace around the time he was drafted (yes MySpace)
  4. Stop pretending I'm defending either Penn State or this decision. All I've said is that I'm no surprised that the NCAA reversed course, not because I think it's the right decision, but because the NCAA can literally do nothing right. And because penn state keeps winning baby! Again, you're putting words in my mouth. I only stated their record because the penalties didn't work. One could argue that means the penalty wasn't harsh enough. I don't get it? The penalties didn't work so we should just remove them 2 years early?
  5. Castro vows to return this year. With this and Rizzo news, maybe we do see our super lineup (minus Bryant) this year.
  6. Cubs outscored 25-4 since Saturday
  7. http://i.imgur.com/A8PjoGB.jpg Hmm....(Jay's shirt)
  8. Batting .098 his last 15 games. I'll echo the "not worried until May" statement though overall.
  9. No game thread up. First trip to Toronto since 08! Baez 0-1, K Soler 1-1, Single

  11. like, from the snap or eventually as the play broke down? The way I heard it talked about on the radio, sounds like from the snap. I'll give him some slack since its his third week on the team, but between that and half the Bears secondary playing zone and the other playing man on the most critical play of last season, this team is pretty stupid.
  12. Hey we're not the only bad ones, there are a lot of us on Sundays. That's the fun of this thread though, we bitch and moan and make irrational statements, then we all calm down and post normally until the next game starts.
  13. Looks like the Big Ten is still alive for a playoff spot! Oh, and I'm looking forward to more of Derwood's contributions to this thread.
  14. Yeah that's never good.
  15. So that's not good. [expletive]
  16. yeah its on at 2 this year, but apparently they will replay in its entirety at 5 each week
  17. So why does actually seeing the hit all the sudden change things? Did we not already know he knocked her out coldly and dragged her out of an elevator? To me he should have been cut back in the spring when this all came out and he admitted to knocking her out.
  18. At first glance: Terrible game for the WRs (Holmes was the 4rd lowest rated WR out of 124 that played yesterday) and DBs, great game for the Offensive Line. Also, Forte with a -1.3? Must have been a terrible blocker yesterday...
  19. Supposedly Briggs and Bostic both received +1.6 ratings yesterday from PFF

  22. They would almost certainly open at home on that Sunday night and then move the Cubs Monday game to the off day Tuesday. They've done 1 game series on Sunday night in the past.
