  1. From Adam shefter: That would make our active WRs....Holmes, Bellamy and Chris Williams? Am I missing someone? Should just sit Cutler tonight so he doesn't get hurt.
  2. Holy [expletive] that is one of the dumbest gaffes I've ever heard. Has this ever happened before? I've seen it before. Some teams would rather start with their defense on the field in both halves, thinking that a defense stop + punt will give their offense better starting field position than a kickoff return No. God no. No one is choosing one less possession in a game on purpose. That would be like the Lions choosing the wind at the start of OT. I refuse to believe any coach has purposely chosen to kick off both halves. Ps according to Fox, this happened to UCLA 2 years ago.

  4. Welp. Looking like the last minor League thread of the year.
  5. Does this mean that 2 of Jeffery, Marshall or Morgan are likely out tomorrow?
  6. Another great day for B1G. Looks like they are goin to go either 2-5 or 3-4 through the afternoon games depending on the Iowa-Iowa St result (right now Iowa State is up 3). At night Purdue will lose to ND, Rutgers and PSU play so 1-1 there and Nebraska will win. So 4-7 or 5-6 for the day. And the team that beat OSU in the 'Shoe last week lost at home to ECU today. And assuming Nebraska wins, they and the winner of PSU/Rutgers will be the only undefeated teams in the conference 3 weeks into the season.
  7. I thought that son died
  8. It's the buggy whip motion that creates the speed that create the power. It's a really good article that explains why his swing is so out of control. Hopefully somebody in management read it too I would have to believe they know about this already. Or at least I hope so.
  9. Soler doesn't need 2 days off in a row. Ugh
  10. Not sure why I missed this, but I did. Anyway, I find it disturbing that you remember that whole thing. I definitely remember Rex getting off to a decent start in the first game or two and tearing up his knee in Minnesota. Think he played vs GB and Detroit and we lost to Detroit at home and beat GB at Lambeau. I remember Rex scrambling around and making a couple plays outside the pocket. Mike Brown's fumble return. That is basically all I remember of that season as I almost entirely blacked out the Quinn/Krenzel/Hutchinson games. I think Hutchinson may have had one monster good game at some point out of nowhere. Hutchinson had a very good game in his first start as a Bear at home against Minnesota in a win. I remember this because I was at the game and everyone was shocked. His performance deteriorated from there and the Bears didn't win a game the rest of the year. Krenzel absolutely sucked but the Bears somehow managed to win 3 games in a row. I forget the first one, but the second was in NY against the Giants when we sacked Warner like 10 times, and other was in Tennessee where we won with a safety in OT. Quinn was even worse than Krenzel, culminating in the worst game in NFL history. Krenzel vs the Cowboys Quincy Carter on Thanksgiving.
  11. Yeah you are making judgements on one game though. Just like SF will look at our tape and be like "wow we can run all day on those guys". Oh wait, dammit they will.
  12. I was about to post this...from the Deadspin comments:
  13. FWIW, Marshall said on his Inside the NFL show yesterday that he will be playing.
  14. Man I hope Goodell goes down for this Damn, he has to at this point
  15. Mna, please win. Hutchinson looks like such a douche in his photo.
  16. Wow this was awesome, I don't care if he makes UM fans look bad: http://deadspin.com/angry-michigan-fan-calls-radio-station-loses-his-damn-1633066696
  17. YOU FORGOT POWER RANKINGS
  18. I'm a glutton for punishment so I went into a 49ers forum to see what they were saying about this game. Oh and this gif was posted of Briggs...and that was 2 years ago....ugh http://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/s--XRU1vP8M--/c_fit,fl_progressive,q_80,w_636/185uo8nt3c7nggif.gif Source: http://www.49erswebzone.com/forum/niners/179485-san-francisco-49ers-chicago-bears-pregame-thread-week/page4/

  20. Sounds promising but I'll refrain from excitement until he's on TV holding up a Cubs jersey.
  21. It depends. Reading in text it sounds bad, but I didn't see the TV show so I don't know the context. For all we know he could have been breaking down the play on film on TV and showing who should be where. He could have also assigned some fault on the play to himself and that quote wasn't included in the tweet.
  22. Yes, I believe they did at the end of the last episode
