    The Red Zone channel seems to be weirdly off today. They keep ignoring red zone opportunities to show non red zone opportunities and for some reason seem to be obsessed with this Giants-Rams game. It seems to be their go to game when nothing else is happening which is bizarre since it's the only game on right now with no playoff implications

    Quick math but I think the Bears can get no worse than the 8th pick with a loss next week. And the Giants are up double digits early. If they lose I believe a loss to Minnesota clinches the 7th pick. I am not sure how the tiebreakers work but Washington can still tie them too if they beat Dallas, so maybe still slightly alive for the 6 spot.

    The Bears winning doesn't really effect the Packers unless Green Bay blows the lead in the last 3 minutes. Good point, because next week is winner take all with a GB win right?

    I am so conflicted. I cant help but cheer for the Bears even when I want them to lose. Pros of a win: -It's fun to watch Bears win even when terrible -It's fun to beat the Lions -Confidence for next year? Cons: -Might destroy draft positioning -Helps the Packers win the division and maybe get a bye -Keeps the 0.0000000001% chance of Trestman coming back because "cutler wasnt a good fit in his system, lets give him a try with a better system QB and ignore the fact that his team was a mess off the field due to lack of leadership and also made a [expletive] ton of inexcusable mental errors, some of them repeatedly" [expletive] I have to root against the Bears here

    Sweet Willie Young and Ego Ferguson go down with at first glance really bad injuries. Young's injury might be on that effects the beginning of next year. Edit: Sounds like Ferguson might be fine

    Given the reports that Harbaugh is considered too pricy at HC I doubt the Bears are going to throw gobs of money at their problems 2 levels above HC How can the McCaskeys say Harbaugh is too pricey? Should never be a problem in this market when the NFL is making gobs of money. If they clean house and get rid of cutler they are eating like $20+ mil for nothing next year, so to add the highest paid coach in NFL history is very very unlike how the McCaskeys operate.

    Does Mel Tucker even care anymore? 6 quarters of Fuller man to man on CJ hasn't convinced you to maybe change something?

    Not that I want them to win but even the worst teams rise up and attempt to play spoiler at least once down the stretch (like the Redskins yesterday). The bears might be too dead to even do that. 4 straight games against playoff teams (most likely), 3 at home and so far 3 blowouts and one that looks to be in the beginning stages of a 4th.

    I'd go if I didn't have to pay or put any efforts towards getting a ticket, it was fun the one time I went. But yeah overall it's just a bunch of weirdos or dads that take their kids ( which is totally excusable IMO)
