    that wasn't a block in the back at all. the vikings have done that 5 times today. they just don't want the bears to win at home. Huh? I saw him being pushed down from behind as the Vikings guy was running past Jones.

    Stopping when the play is blown dead is giving up on a play? Yes because it was a play where the ball conceivably could have been given to the Vikings despite the whistle blowing It could have? I thought that was precisely why it wasn't given to the Vikings (because nobody had it when the whistle was blown) The ref said there wasn't a clear recovery so the play stood. Clear recovery seems like a subjective decision and the Vikings eventually fell on it so I think it's possible the refs could have given the ball to the Vikings.

    Stopping when the play is blown dead is giving up on a play? Yes because it was a play where the ball conceivably could have been given to the Vikings despite the whistle blowing It's not tough. Regardless of a whistle if you see the ball on the ground, fall on it. It's not a difficult concept

    Ok is Gould is going to stop being automatic on FGs, it's time to cut him after the season. Makes way too much money to eat up our cap space being anything less than elite

    It's sad that the downfield pass has all but been removed from the Chicago offense despite a rocket armed QB and 2 tall athletic WRs

    The Bears went for it at first but once again they gave up on a questionable fumble/inc pass situation. A more generous official would have ruled that Vikings ball. It was called correctly though. Regardless, they gave up on another play.

    The Bears have really tested that theory, being competitive to the last 1-2 games almost every year for the last decade but only making the playoffs 3 times. They've been the ultimate tease. Thankfully they at least got a Super Bowl appearance out of that run.

    Also if NW can beat Purdue and Illinois and Michigan can beat Maryland (or I guess OSU) the big ten will have 11/14 teams bowl eligible

    Crazy day when literally half (10/20) of the ranked teams that played today, lost and 6 more won by one score or less.

    I was just thinking that tomorrow's game is only the 2nd game since 2009 that there's nothing on the line for the Bears. Yes technically they are still alive with plenty of season to go but unless they win out it's highly highly unlikely. It's funny to watch a team for 5 years and have something to be excited about every game and now have to switch to a completely different mindset.

    Wow I'm just finding out that NW beat ND. I watched the entire second half and turned it off after the pass interference call that I thought for sure ended the game. The only thing that could have saved NW was a fumble and I figured that was too unlikely. I literally did a double take when I saw the score on the ticker
