I thought this was interesting... I've seen a lot of people complain that the Cubs aren't taking advantage of bad starters, and we've seen some bad ones over the last 11 games (including tonight through the 4th inning). Combining their stats, the average opponent starter over the last 11 games has a 4.40 ERA. The starters ERA against the Cubs over the last 11 games is.... 4.23. So slightly below average. Obviously you expect better from a team with as much offensive potential as the Cubs, but I think people think we have been anemic against these garbage starters, and in reality we are hitting them about how they've been hit by everyone else.
