What happened on the Rizzo fielders choice? I missed the play but it sounds like it was basically a single that wasn't because the runner got forced out at 3rd so it was a fielders choice. So basically Rizzo was 5 for 5 unofficially
The guy who asked if we could get Aramis' career numbers for Bryant made me pause. The answer would be yes, but I want more. If the numbers weren't era adjusted, Aramis' career numbers would be fantastic this day and age.
because anytime you can get Ross and his .143/.250/.179/.429 vs. LHP into the lineup you do it. (disclaimer extreme sample size alert of 32 PA and he had a .809 OPS against lefties last year)
Dumb question...if they called it they would just restart the game on another date right? I think that's the case but they might have changed it over the years
Because Soriano has a better track record of success, a much higher ceiling if he can get it together, and while stupid because it's a sunk cost, they invested quite a bit in him and want to exhaust all opportunities to get their money's worth.
Was it a complete fluke that almost all of our top prospects have strikeout issues? Was that an attribute that was purposely ignored, is it an issue with development or just simply a matter of young power hitters tend to have contact issues?
Isn't the pitchers spot due up first next inning? Then it makes perfect sense if you are planning on using a PH Edit: nvm I forgot ross actually got on base to let the pitcher bat.
