    You know John McDonough and the Blackhawks are beyond pissed right now, whether he gets charged or not. They were pissed at Crawford for getting drunk at the Rise Against concert and getting hurt. Yeah even if there are no charges filed, everyone will assume he paid her off or she didn't choose to go after him because of the media hoopla involved. The only way that Kane gets through this relatively unscathed is if the DA or police publicly announce that Kane is completely cleared of any wrongdoing and this was a baseless accusation.

    Actual worst case scenario, meaning he raped a woman and will get away with it? Or worse case scenario that he goes to prison for raping a woman. I think they can void the contract if he goes to prison for rape. They probably can't do much more than short suspension if he pleads out to something else. Yeah I meant worst case non-prision scenario, as sadly I'm assuming either Kane will convince the girl to drop charges or he will plead for a lesser offense that doesn't involve jail because thats just how things seem to work with pro athletes.

    Say its the worst case scenario...with Kane's massive extension kicking in, what can the blackhawks really do other than suspend him for a period of time (although I'm sure the NHL would suspend him first)?

    Im really at a loss how you found that game frustrating. They showed life the entire night. that's why it's frustrating Exactly. It was a winnable game against a team we could have pulled to within 2 games of WC1. it's not a devistating or upsetting loss by any means but I found it more frustrating than the average game.
