  1. For as many balls that were hard hit that inning getting only 1 is a little unlucky
  2. Just turned it on at 6:43 and the Cubs have already been retired in the 1st? wtf
  3. Isn't data from the first 50 games of the season also relevant? The Cubs offense might not have as much depth/variety as Milwaukee but the data we've gathered this season suggests that the Cubs are a better offense overall. Even if you look at since June 1st which is roughly when the Brewers got hot, their offense has been almost identical in terms of wRC+ and wOBA. Maybe the Brewers just needed some time to get going and they are actually this good, but a season is a roller coaster and the Brewers are currently in a peak. We play 162 games to try to capture all those peaks and valleys as best as we can. So far the data shows that the Cubs and Brewers are very close. Maybe in a month the Cubs are the team that gets red hot and the Brewers are merely good.
  4. why do you keep bringing up Cam Smith in this post? Do you mean Matt Shaw?
  5. Yesterday was extremely frustrating and then sad with the Ryno news, but I said coming into the series that 1 of 3, while not ideal, is acceptable so I'll save most of my irrational panic until after Wednesday's game if they for some reason get swept.
  6. I was hoping that somehow Ryno's spirit would somehow compel us to victory tonight, but the Brewers voodoo devil magic is too strong. RIP Ryno sorry we couldn't do better for ya
  7. Seems like a stupid decision down 2. Completely changes the inning FFS
  8. Given their .140 xBA entering this game I can assure you their wRC+ this game isn’t great
  9. Here comes the lefty for the L-Slump-L part of the order lol
  10. The top 5 exit velocities in the game, 9 of the top 11 and 12 of the top 15 have been hit by the Brewers
  11. They’re just a voodoo devil magic organization. They’ve replaced the Cardinals
  12. PCA has a .443 SLG and 7 HR against lefties this year and Seiya is in a 2-30 slump. you might be right though. It’s not like PCA generally looks good against lefties
  13. I thought that but I’m sure he didn’t want to put a RISP there
  14. PCA needs to have one of those random home runs off a lefty
  15. Ok, 0-2 solid single against a good lefty is pretty impressive
  16. Guessing a lefty to neutralize Busch and Tucker and if we’re so lucky PCA edit: yep. They have 3 lefties ready to take our big guys out 3 more times in this game. And the one righty in that section is 2 for his last 30
  17. Brewers just trying to get Misiorowski to the top of the order again so they can stack lefties against our lefty dominant top of the order the rest of the game
