I’d say we’re just going into a bit of a hitting slump but we hit so well in Cincinnati and the Rockies have the worst ERA in baseball. I know the conditions have made it more of a pitchers park but still -

Of course the Rockies managed to get Arcia into a game before the end of the series. -
Have to admit the bullpen has been pretty damn good overall for a while now. They are 5th in bullpen ERA in the month of May (before tonight) at 2.93

I thought Shaw was cooked down 0-2. And he kind of was since he took strike 3 but the ump called it a ball. Nice work getting a bat on it!

I am not enjoying this baseball game. Just like I’m not enjoying the umpire forcing Seiya to swing at a bad pitch by calling a strike on 2 straight balls

The Cubs have scored 10+ runs in 8 of their 28 road games (29%) and 4 of their 26 home games (15%). Could be a coincidence (and this is just one random stat) but wonder if Wrigley is trending towards a massive pitchers park for the 2nd year in a row
