Just waking up to the Suarez news. Sucks, I’m a little disappointed, though there are still bats that can help us. Like I’ve said, not our biggest hole to fill but I do think we need another bat for certain situations and the cost didn’t seem as high as I expected based on what reports were suggesting. not the end of the world though, excited to see how the day plays out. -

I dunno managers really love the idea of taking complete days off for struggling players. No thinking about ABs, your lack of success, etc. Not a huge deal, but with a big lead and an injury plus the off day tomorrow it would have made sense to keep him out of the game imo.

I was just looking to see if the Orioles (cubs next opponent) are still bad and they've won 5 in a row with a run differential of +42 over those 5 games, including taking the first 3 from the Jays who had the best record in baseball coming into the series. Scores during that stretch: 18-0 (COL) 5-1 (COL) 11-4 (TOR) 16-4 (TOR) 3-2 (TOR)

Do you? Interesting....I was going to say that data is available real time so easy to quickly challenge but I seem to remember challenges having to be initiated immediately by the batter or catcher, not from the dugout. I could be wrong though.

Bad ump. If they implement ABS challenges next year, if they limit it to a small number of challenge a game it would be a shame. From what I've seen, the challenges are instant. It would be stupid to not challenge that strike 1 call on PCA when it was so blatantly outside (and now strike 1 to Kelly) because Counsel wants to save his challenges for later in the game. I'm not saying you have to do unlimited challenges but 2-3 a game doesn't seem like enough.

It's definitely worth a try. I was resistant to trying 5G thinking it had to suck, but it's been really good for me. I switched to Verizon 5G for internet and DirectTV Stream for cable, get all the necessary sports stations and save about $60 a month over what I was paying for Xfinity.
