    Richard DFA makes sense but I am not sure the other move here. Wouldn't be a position player since they just swapped Dex and Edwards yesterday. Possibilities: Someone going on DL? Someone who hasn't seemed right lately like Warren? Edwards going back down after 1 day? DFA of someone else? Trade??

    yeah it makes no sense. The last thing the Hawks need is another huge contract, unless they have magically found someone to take both Hossa and Seabrook's deals or something. Because its such an illogical rumor, no one would be dumb enough to make that up right? So there has to be a shred of truth to it.

    Just me being me, I can't change it but I guess I can stop bothering other people on here about it lol. I didn't recognize the name or the voice, he said he's been doing Cardinals games since 2006. Rooney went from White Sox to Cardinals around then, and would've been employed by ESPN 1000 before switching over. Might've been him? I thought about that, but it didn't sound like Rooney, this person had a southern drawl to him.

    Yesterday, one of the beat writers said on Twitter that Soler would be eligible to come off the DL this week but La Stella is ahead of him. Both would have to go on a rehab assignment. yeah I think they will be very careful with Soler, I wouldn't be surprised if its another 3 weeks before he's back.

    Between Strops over the top celebrations, the addition of Willson's energy/swagger and even Miggy has been fist bumping after big outs, we are going to piss off a ton of meatballs. I love it.

    Joe wants a 2nd lefty in the pen and don't feel like they have a better option available. Also Joe probably sees this.. OPS against vs. LHB: 08 - .650 09 - .645 10 - .574 11 - .639 12 - .591 13 - .639 15 - .534 16 - .924 I agree he probably feels like there is no better options so he has to keep coming out there, but also he probably also thinks that based on his history, his lack of success against LHB this year is an aberration and will eventually regress to his career numbers.

    I am not sure why Joe is extending this many opportunities to turn it around. I mean he was pretty good last year but even at last year's value, he's not exactly invaluable. All that said, let Joe do whatever he wants with the large lead we have. I highly doubt he's putting Richard in during a tied playoff game.
