It sucks but I still think its mostly a fluke. In 2015 he was one of the most clutch players in baseball with a pretty good sample size. That said, its gotten to the point where I don't like when he comes up in key situations. Then all the logic in my head informs me that I'm an idiot and Kris is our best hitter but then he strikes out awkwardly like he did in that Toronto game. I dunno, maybe it is in his head at this point, but this is a guy that had a .923 OPS in the playoffs last year, had 4 hits in game 6 of the World Series, would have had the World Series winning HR in game 7 if the wind wasn't blowing in, hit a game tying 2 run HR in the 9th inning of NLDS Game 3. He's not a guy that cowers under the pressure of big games.
