Hmm, I think A is smaller than B and fits inside it, but they're pretty damn close in size... I have friends who are unfortunately Cardinals fans, but they are liberal and vote Democratic (for the most part). I grew up downstate in Carbondale, but fortunately for me it's a progressive blue bastion among the sea of backwards, redneck country that is Southern Illinois. The electoral map for Illinois is pretty depressing, but Jackson County went blue last year, which made me pretty damn happy. I wish some political scientist or PhD student did a thorough scientific study on the political beliefs/religious views of different fanbases across MLB. It's either the Braves or the Cardinals for the most conservative, Trump-supporting fanbase in MLB, but I'd like to back it up with some good empirical data. http://media2.giphy.com/media/12Nxp9loRy1yPC/giphy.gif

Weird, guess who is currently 4th on the team in PA, and about to pass up Willson... Never would have guessed that after the demotion and sitting against lefties, but after you think about who else it could be, it makes sense.

yeah, i remember us being in those trade rumors with rolen when he was with the phillies too The rumor I remember was the Phillies demanded Juan Cruz but the Cubs would only part with Zambrano. Interesting both teams fuked up on the Cruz aspect so cant blame the Cubs totally for what wouldve turned out to be robbery sending Juan for Rolen. Did Rolen's post Phillies career turn out way better than Aramis though? We still had a good stretch at 3b after a 30 year drought. Yeah, but we lost Bobby Hill! I remember being happy we kept Cruz. My god his stuff was nasty. -

to be fair, that was annoying to us too. Yeah I'd say most of us were annoyed, or at least worried about it, too if he ever dropped a ball doing it (which I don't think he did with us) but now that he has dropped a ball doing it with them I get being really pissed about it. It's adding a unnecessary variable to making a catch a little more unlikely. If I recall correctly, Jason Hammel used a hashtag something like #pleasenomorechesthighpopflycatches shortly after it was revealed that he was coming back to the Cubs last year.

I'm not as down on this fight as most people. I mean, it is going to answer that nagging, age-old question that has been tucked deep into all of our thoughts since conception: Who would win in a boxing match? A legendary, undefeated professional boxer, or someone else?
