I never played much organized ball growing up, but when I was in high school I filled in on my Dad's rec league softball team a few times when they were short. Bottom of the last inning, tied 32-32 or whatever, two down, bases loaded, and I'm on second base. Batter loops the ball into left which falls in easily, and that's the game. I trot into 3rd and I'm watching the winning run score...and then something hits me in the back of the head. Figured it out pretty quickly. I turn around at look at the left fielder, who is making a sheepish face, and the third baseman grabs me...not sure if it was to steady me, or to keep me from charging into left field, but I just shake my head and walk off the field. There, a little kid walks up to me and says, "If that was me, my head would have been squished!" Rec league softball is stupid. -
LOL. It looks like Rondon is doing an impersonation of Strope running down the 3rd base line during walk off HR celebrations.

Is his walk-up music the minimalist stuff that is featured in Requiem for a Dream? I could barely make it out during the broadcast last night. Totally what a sociopath would pick. I approve. Yeah, it sounded like "Requiem for a Dream." Also find it hilarious Uehara comes out to "Sandstorm." Hendricks' "Sweet Emotion" is clearly the most self-aware.

i was thinking he looked like a sociopath Oh, he definitely has a sleepy-eyed psycho thing going on. horsefeathers, I just image searched him and he straight up looks like Dahmer most of the time. Never say never about Denver weather. The Wednesday game looks especially unlikely, and Tuesday is suspect as well, so I would guess that they might well try and wait out the rain today. Game might not start until 8:30 or 9 local time, if I were to guess.

the most simple way is to not allow that person's name to purchase a ticket. he could still get tickets in other ways but would also be open to trespassing on private property penalties I know a guy (who happens to be one of the worst excuses for a human in existence) who got banned from Coors Field for life for dumping a beer on a Dad and his kid a while back. He's been back to the stadium at least twice since then. -
then who is? ...whomever the Cardinals decide to play in left? Either that, or Braun, Melky Cabrera, and maybe Khris Davis and Jason Worth.

he's probably the worst fielding LF in baseball, so if he's our 4th-6th best hitter he's pretty useless i think he's more likely to become our best hitter than 4th-best though idk...guys like upton and braun are really damn bad. Yeah, the idea that he's easily the worst LF in baseball is just not true. Physique and the 2015 playoffs are really the only reason to think that. That he's a non-amateur emergency catcher has to count for something, too.

More time to hang out with Drake. LaRoche? I like the idea that Eaton didn't necessarily like hanging out with a teammate's 14 year old kid, but rather that he just likes hanging out with anyone named Drake. Rapper? British explorer? Whatever, just lets hang! -
