No way he goes to New York. The Nets have a better shot. LeBron isn't going toa team that will be worse than his Cleveland team. And the guy they picked up plays no defense and can't rebound. I don't think LeBron wants to play without that.
Get LeBron + move Deng and eat 40% of his salary + sign Allen = Bulls championship(s) Wade and Bosh will be crying in their cristals tomorrow if that occurs. My dream scenario could actually be the perfect situation for the Bulls. If they get LeBron they will almost be forced to move Deng (which is perfect). Boozer is nearly the player Bosh is, but at a little cheaper price. Now they might have a little more money to work with to get Allen, especially if they can get rid of Deng. Plus the Bulls have a better bench than most of the teams out there who gave up a ton to try to land the big boys.
What? You're aware that Cleveland was 20 games better than the Bulls last year, right? Rose and Noah are getting better. They will have a low post presence now and most likely a solid 2. Cleveland was built to win in the regular season. I think the Bulls now can beat them in the playoffs. At the very least it is a close series.
If the Bulls don't get LeBron and wind up with a slightly above average 2 guard, where does that put them in the east? Even if LeBron goes to Cleveland, the Bulls are better. Miami, Boston, Orlando, and Chicago could all take the east.
Obviously the LeBron to New York or Chicago rumors abound. I heard that LeBron bought a two-million dollar condo in Chicago and that he changed the address for tax purposes of his foundation/marketing group to IL. Even if LeBron made up his mind, the Boozer signing must be enticing and could change it. The Bulls clearly have the most to offer now when you look at the entire package. If he wants to win, he will go to Chicago.
Colin Cowherd reporting LeBron's news conference is not in Cleveland. The winning team will get a call from LeBron 5 minutes before. Hopefully the Bulls have something with LeBron. Get Boozer now to sweeten the pot.
That'd be especially awesome if he chose Cleveland because they'd pan back http://cohee.name/coastermania/2000/Cleveland_skyline.jpg And no one would have any idea where the hell they were, because it looks like any other crappy Midwest city. Ha very nice.
Doing an ESPN special would be the PERFECT place to announce a superteam And nobody knows where this is being held yet where it's being held is obviously the big tipoff. I guess I assumed it was in Cleveland. How cool would it be if it was a secret spot. Then they pan the city from afar and you find out then.
This confuses me. A little while ago he announces he will make his decision on his future on Thursday, yet this comes out where he is having a planned conference call with Bosh and Wade on Wednesday? Does James know where he is going or not? Assuming the report is true, LeBron is trying one last time to get Bosh.
Nah....He's staying in Cleveland. No way he is going to have a one hour special with proceeds going to charity to announce he's breaking Cleveland's hearts. Yep. All but certain that he's staying.
Really seems like both those dudes made their decisions within a few hours of each other. Considering how much we heard about Bosh wanting to play with LBJ, there's a good chance they've agreed to play somewhere together, right? I'm worried about the Miami thing happening again Well it sure doesn't sound like Bosh is going to Cleveland. I doubt Bosh would say its a great day because he is going to Cleveland when reports all day were that he didn't want to go there.
On the one hand LeBron could justify last year's playoff flop because his elbow was injured. But I really didn't like the way they went out. I don't think LeBron did either. The team just seemed to give up. And LeBron hasn't given any signs himself that Cleveland is the frontrunner. Any chance Ray Allen leaves Boston? I doubt he will now that Rivers and Pierce are coming back.
I think the possies are much bigger nowadays. If Reinsdorf keeps the biggest FA in the history of sports from signing with his team because he doesn't want to give LeBron's buddies special priviledges he is a stupid owner. And Reinsdorf is not a stupid man.
