    This was the only time in Martz's coaching career where he did not raise his team's offensive ranking in his first year as coordinator. I think the Bears went from like 25th to 30th last year.

    I don't think so. The Bulls have a better bench, a better coach, and two other players in Deng and Boozer that are slightly better than Indiana's second and third scorers. Indiana is just a bad matchup for the Bulls. This is the playoffs where you rarely blow out teams unless you are the 90s Bulls.

    Same here. What made Luol step of his game? Thibs? He wasn't as good this year as he was last year. Yep. He was healthier this year, but really didn't do anything differently outside of shooting a few more 3's. Winning lots of games will change perceptions. The things I am thinking of are not really measurable outside of threes. His defense has improved and I think he is playing more physically. It seemed to me that Luol was afraid of contact before.
