  1. No more secure than it is now. Philly will beat the Vikings. And the Cowboys. The Bears will probably need to win out to get the first round bye.
  2. Sanchez has a sore shoulder from landing on it Sunday and got an MRI which came out negative. The breaks keep coming Chicago's way even though Sanchez will play.
  3. Three or More Clubs (Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated during any step, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of the two-club format). 1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games among the clubs). 2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division. 3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games. 4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. 5. Strength of victory. 6. Strength of schedule. 7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed. 8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed. 9. Best net points in common games. 10. Best net points in all games. 11. Best net touchdowns in all games. 12. Coin toss
  4. I thought you can go helmet to helmet on running backs? Except Jay Cutler isn't a running back Then the helmet to helmet rule has exceptions which was my point.
  5. I thought you can go helmet to helmet on running backs?
  6. For Sully in case he grows tired of his present icon http://score670.com/phpBB/download/file.php?avatar=7302_1284961485.jpg
  7. Great win. I was a little nervous after that first Viking drive, but the defense played pretty good after that. They generated pretty consistent pressure which was key. The snow slowed down just in time for the Bears to get a decent lead. And only one sack allowed. If the defense can generate turnovers, Jay can make plays and keep from turning the ball over, and Devin can give the Bears TDs or great field position on punts, this team can get to the Super Bowl. I was hoping Gruden would take the Miami job. He was pretty terrible. He said something about Webb "solidifying" RT. What? I think Jaworski ramps up his remarks just to keep up with Gruden which makes the commentary doubly bad.
  8. Watching the blizzard in Minnesota on ESPN right now. There is going to be a few inches of snow on the ground, just like last week. I don't like the looks of this one at all. The wind might not be as bad though.
  9. Get your popcorn ready. I predict sulleys post count is going up by 100 tonight. I'm praying to God for his kids' sake that the Bears win tonight.
  10. I'm only finding that the Vikes' punter, Kluwe, says that the field is unplayable, not any official ruling. WBBM didn't say anything about Kluwe, but I guess it was just him.
  11. After a walk through, TCF Bank Stadium was ruled unplayable today. Great.
  12. Because Asik didn't know how to defend Griffin. Thomas at least made him shoot from the outside instead of letting him dunk over him time and time again. But with Noah and Taj it, Thibodeau had to pick his poison.
  13. This one says one year $1.5 million. Where do you see $5 million? http://www.suntimes.com/2881713-417/wood-cubs-million-season-team.html
  14. Except our Derek Jeter isn't going to be extremely overpayed.
  15. I want to slap anyone on realgm that suggests that. Wallace is the exact opposite of the player he'd be replacing. He's old and treats the regular season like Rec league ball at the Y. No fing way. I hear ya, but sometimes you have to make moves that end up helping the team even if that guy has an attitude problem. The Bulls are an easy team to love (http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/nba/columns/story?columnist=wilbon_michael&id=5921192) beacuse they are unselfish and don't have that one guy who acts like a turd and brings you bad pub. I would give the new rotation a few games and see how they respond. But I would also tell Wallace to start getting in shape just in case.
  16. Even though he retired, Rasheed Wallace anyone?
  17. They are using a machine called the Snow Dragon.
  18. The Hawks have the 9th seed now tied with 2 others (7th and 8th seeds) points wise. Those teams have played fewer games. Missing the playoffs would destroy so much momentum this organization had.
  19. The Bulls better destroy a bad team with Stojakovic, Bargnani, and Calderon all out. But they did play good. It sure is nice to have a real secondary scorer on this team to take some of the load off of Rose and help him out when he has off nights. Boozer led the Bulls with 34 points and 12 rebounds in just 26 minutes.
  20. The Bulls play them both once. Hopefully Noah can get back by February 26th to play the Heat.
  21. What center/big power forward can the Bulls get off the scrap heap? Asik has played a little PF this season right?
  22. Can Boozer or Gibson start at center? Good thing the Bulls didn't trade Gibson for J.R. Smith.
  23. The Bulls do have somewhat of a soft schedule coming up. Outside of Howard there really aren't any great centers in the east.
  24. I think the game is going to be played at TCF Bank Stadium, but it is not for sure. They do have a TON of snow to remove with more on its way. The NFL also has to give it the final OK. They are working on making sure the pipes don't freeze (the stadium was never meant to be used past the middle of November) and getting the right equipment there (NFL video booth). I would guess the decision has to come either tomorrow or Monday. The media, including the MNF crew, needs to know where they are going. TJ was really bad, got hurt, and then came back later. Remember last year about this time the Bears had a home game against Minnesota when Minnesota really needed the game for home field. The Bears won. Maybe that is in the back of the Vikings' minds. It is also the Vikings 50th anniversary and they are recognizing all their greats. This could jack them up a little. Maybe they will want to play hard if this is Favre's last game. All I know is that any team can win if Adrian Peterson is running the ball for them. A sure to come Packers loss and a Bears win will mean the Bears clinch the NFC North.
