  1. What was the reasoning behind that decision?
  2. C'mon Seattle! I hope the Seahawk line stays strong because one decent hit to Hasselbeck and he will be down for the count.
  3. I already said the schedule has been easy so you must be ignoring the fact that I did not ignore it. The Bulls have All-Star center who is their energy guy. When he goes down so will their energy. It is also possible that they are in a rut right now. Every team goes through them.
  4. Or a .630ish team. Most everyone realized that the Bulls would not be able to keep up their level of play when Noah went down. Then when it actually happens some people freak out. Every team goes through ruts and this is just a rut. They will be fine.
  5. Yeah, terrible just terrible team.
  6. The Bulls are winning at a 70% clip without him and a 66% clip with him. They are obviously playing weaker teams, but all is not lost.
  7. Mid to late February, just in time for the Miami game?
  8. But as I said earlier, this isn't even so much about Boozer not playing good defense. He didn't hustle down the court to even put himself in the position to play defense. Thibs did not bench him because Boozer was lit up. Thibs benched him because Boozer didn't hustle, something anyone can and should do. And I really don't think it will happen again.
  9. Thibs is not going to just roll over for Carlos if Boozer doesn't show a little hustle. I am fairly confident Boozer will run back to the hoop with a little more urgency next game. This isn't even so much about playing defense well, just trying harder and getting yourself in the right position.
  10. Today during Jerry Angelo's State of the Bears news conference he said that this Bears team doesn't have a lot of talent, but this is the best Bears team since he has been GM. He's always good for a press conference isn't he?
  11. Boozer has been a pretty good team player and has said all the right things this year so I don't see him getting all pissy. Maybe he needed a kick in the pants and will realize his mistake.
  12. Well, I mean ... it did kinda work. The 4th quarter brought them back from a big deficit. That strategy is dumb. I want my best players in at the end of the game when it's close. You got everything you can and more out of that unit. It's ridiculous how your second best player, and best big man, wasn't in the game for the entire final quarter. It sure would've been nice if our best rebounder was out there to break up the failed alley-oop at the end of the game. Basically, Thibodeau punted last night. Most people here believe that the Bulls will wind up at worst fourth in the East. Isn't sending a message to Boozer that he has to defend more important than one win because the Bulls are stuck in third or fourth place?
  13. Obviously Cutler is better than Orton, but I wouldn't be surprised if Orton could have got the Bears in the playoffs with two first round linemen the Bears would have had.
  14. If the offense was going to be vanilla and the Bears really didn't play to win like they had the last few games, there was no reason for the starters to play. You weren't going to beat the Packers being vanilla and you increased the likelihood of injuries.
  15. Never heard that before.
  16. You could clearly hear some fan yelling at McCarthy to stop running the ball and wasting plays. True.
  17. Line has jumped to 11.5, but that is still pretty good if you ask me.
  18. What's the line right now for this game? This is going to be a steal if you pick the Packers.
  19. He does a Bears show in Chicago about every week. Kinda stinks for him.
  20. I'm glad the Kings won because that was an obvious travel on the shot by the Grizzlies player.
  21. I remember the speculation going on even before that. There was one particular game in Chicago where the Bears absolutely pummeled Favre to the point where he was almost seriously injured. The Packers were terrible that year and many thought that could be the end. I would not be surprised if Favre came back next year with a team that needed a QB just like Minnesota did. Maybe San Francisco, maybe Arizona.
  22. Grossman had a 0 passer rating that last game against Green Bay in 2006 with three interceptions, but he obviously did fine in the playoffs. This article said that there was some debate as to whether or not Rex would start the playoff game? I didn't remember that. http://web.archive.org/web/20070505020051/http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/recap/NFL_20061231_GB@CHI
  23. I know I am a bit late on this and didn't have the opportunity to post on it when it occurred, but did Hester pose like Tomlinson does after he caught that pass for a TD? Did LT think Hester was showing him up?
