  1. Huge converstion for Washington.
  2. Yeah, I think people are looking at 0-12 last year and assuming they're still awful. They're not good, but Locker makes a huge difference compared to the crap they ran out last year.
  3. Yeah, that was a TD for ND in the 1st half.
  4. This post is just begging to get bumped later today: :hello: Like the USC game, I think it's early to shovel dirt on the Irish.
  5. You gotta pick that.
  6. They don't rebuild. They reload.
  7. I turned this game on for literally 10 seconds. Josh Lewin talking about Bradley and his 999 OPS last year. Even if he had put up say a 777 OPS this year, Cubs fans would be happy. Bradley's OPS: 775.
  8. A reverse Weis.
  9. At the Half USC: 10 Washington: 10
  10. Is Washington playing prevent?
  11. and USC goes 3 and out.
  12. MSU has like 5 drops already.
  13. Here's how bad the schedule of games are today. The ESPNU 2:30 game is Indiana/Akron
  14. [expletive] I forgot to put money on Tennessee. 30 points are you kidding me?
  15. Nice punch there by the Purdue player at the end.
  16. Holy [expletive]! Mannelly making the calls for NIU
  17. Are you happy with division titles Derwood. I've been an Astros fan for 84 years, and I only want titles. Biggio is a prick.
  18. Did you seriously say these things consecutively? There's usually a reason why a guy bounces around so much, well Reggie Sanders played for 7 teams in 7 years, the [expletive] prick. Yes there is usually a reason, why a guy plays for a lot of different teams, I [expletive] explained to you each of the reasons in my previous post.
  19. Did you even read what he wrote? Regarding the OP, I don't think Heilman's back. I think Hendry thought it would look bad to just let Heilman go to a "competitor" while operating under the idea we were still in the wild card. I agree with most everything, except I'd probably hang on to Fontenot. Personally, I'd play Bradley in CF against lefties next year but I know that won't happen, and with a shortage of right handed CF platoon guys, we'll probably go ahead and spend money on Johnson. In a vaccuum, it's really not bad to spend 2-2.5M on Reed, but this is a team that's already too bloated, and can't afford that kind of luxury.
  20. Man all the celebrities chimed in for that thread
  21. This whole 7 teams in 9 years thing is incredibly misleading. How do you feel about Reggie Sanders. Was he run out of town 22 years in a row? Bradley came up with the Expos and was traded straight up for pitching prospect Zach Day in a challenge trade. Bradley sucked with Montreal over ~400 ABs. Bradley had trouble with the Indians and was ran out of town. Bradley apparently was run out of town in LA.(Note they got Ethier in return. Bradley was traded away from Oakland at the deadline when they were out of it and Bradley was up for free agency. Bradley left San Diego as a free agent, signing a cheap deal with Texas as he ended his San Diego time with an injury after the 1st base umpire instigated him(as corroborated by either SD's 1st base coach or the opponent's 1B, maybe both.) The umpire was fined. Bradley left Texas as a free agent for big money in Chicago. Has Bradley been run out of towns before? Yes, the last time being 4 years ago. This constant 7 teams in 9 years implies that teams had Bradley for a year, and couldn't stand the sight of him anymore so they dumped him. It's not true.
  22. Can I get a ruling on whether it's ok for Bradley to not play today?
  23. Yeah, that's the most logical explanation. Not that he tried to tough it out and take the field, and upon taking it realized he couldn't go. I hate every [expletive] who's been a late scratch to a lineup. [expletive] those guys and their histrionics. And how many players have you ever seen walk off the field for no apparent reason with no one waiting to run out to replace him? About 50 pitchers a year. I must have missed the part in the game where Bradley was pitching. Sorry about that. So pitchers are allowed to walk off the field with an injury but not OFers. Thanks for the update.
