  1. I miss him already.
  2. Imagine if Jeter made the backup on that play. And why in the [expletive] are AL teams carrying 3 catchers?
  3. Those other teams are pretty stupid for not trying to keep the ball away from the best defender on the other team. Guess that's the CNS difference.
  4. It's gotta be really tough for McCarver to talk with Jeter's herpes ridden [expletive] in his mouth.
  5. Are they really worth insulting? BC is a nonentity. Though their punk fan base would never accept that. I attended the BC game in 2004 that we lost by one and their fans were intolerable leaving the stadium. It's good that you clarify they lost that game by one since it's so hard to differentiate between all the losses without such details. I attended the game in 1993 when all the ND student section cried like a bunch of little girls and it was glorious. I believe that was a 2 point margin. Among. And BC fans are your typical Northeast private schoolers.
  6. I'm not sure what knocking out Daniel Moore has to do with being big or strong.
  7. But Tijan Jobe will be gone by then.
  8. This is a very bad football game.
  9. Lawl, what the hell was that?
  10. Comeback from TJS is way quicker for position players. I believe when Womack had it he didn't miss any time, and he had to make more throws than Pujols would. I doubt he'd miss any time.
  11. Ozzie Timmons hit a HR while his brother was up in the announcer's booth. I have no clue what his brother was doing in the booth.
  12. Scott Bullet was a 30 year old rookie. My dad was so angry about that.
  13. I've been drinking way too much kool aid about Illinois, but I'd be more than happy with just one
  14. Well, I mean, the second part of that last sentence isn't all that unreasonable. The point is, the complaint seems to be that people complained about firing 2 good hitting coaches. No matter what you want to project on to Hendry, I think most can agree he didn't fire Gerald Perry with the idea of hiring Jaramillo in his head. When a move i stupid on the surface, I'm going to call it stupid rather than trust a blind faith in a GM who hasn't proven he deserves the benefit of the doubt.
  15. I'm sorry, I'll never ask hypotheticals again. Jim Hendry is all-knowing, and I should always trust that he knows something I don't.
  16. Did Hendry know that Jaramillo would be available? Is Joshua going to accept the move back to Iowa?
  17. Heilman
  18. 101/160 on the Indians. 78/190 on Rangers (who the [expletive] is Tom Evans?) 108/200 on Blue Jays
  19. I was pretty jacked when we signed Stynes. I can't believe neither Willie Greene nor Leo Gomez started an opening day. Or that an ancient Willie Wilson did.
  20. I don't know how I missed Hundley. I knew he freaked out the one year cause Girardi started opening day over him. I saw Girardi started 2 in a row, and I guess I just assumed those were Hundley's 2 years. I'm really proud/ashamed of myself for remembering Scott Bullett and Jose Nieves. (Nieves was a guess, Bullett I was actually pretty certain of) For 1990 I cycled through pretty much every player on the '89 team except McClendon.
  21. Carney is one. Favre was in the league but third string w/ the Falcons, so he wasn't in. Nope. Isn't Feagles like 43? Matt Turk is also over 40 I believe. Those are the only ones I can think of. I'm pretty sure Feagles was in it.
  22. He also put up a 94 in '06. And a 114 in a little over half a season in '03. The guy could absolutely hit. It's possible to be a good hitter with below average command of the zone. He just seemed to just lose it completely, and I have to believe a hacktastic hitting coach/manager hepled contribute to that.
  23. I'm the biggest nerd. 170/180. McClendon, Maldonado, Beuchele, Navarro, Brant and Rosie Brown, DeShields, and Todd [expletive] Hundley.
