    It didn't have supplemental, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th round picks. And Samardzija's a nice return for a 5th round pick, no matter what they paid.

    I am concerned that they'll never try and develop any power from Castro, cause after all he's a SS, and shortstops back in my day didn't hit no damn home runs, they bunted, and went the other way and played the game the right way.

    It's a jock culture, I'm sure there's a lot more unreported cases than reported ones. If you haven't read it, pick up a copy of ESPN: The Uncensored History. Goes into a lot of detail about these kinds of activities. Also makes you wonder how Mike Tirico still has a job. He's got a nice voice.

    Getting rid of Bradley under the pretense of improving clubhouse chemistry I could see working on the average Cub fan(EVEN THERIOT SAID HE WAS CANCER). I think the average Cub fan would make fun of them spending money on a hitting coach. (These are grown men, making MILLIONS OF DOLLARS, and a coach is going to help them???)
