  1. The overrated chant is moronic. We're beating you, so let's say you are worse than hyped, therefore we look worse as well!!! Not that I expect an LSU fan to be able to comprehend that thought process. Im not an LSU fan I just hate ND so any chant that insults there team and fans is fine with me. Clarifying, wasn't taking a shot at you with that, I was pretty sure you weren't an LSU guy, I just hate when student sections do that chant(U of I students have made me groan many a time with it)
  2. Jesus, you're obnoxious. THere's gotta be a few posts from last year you could bump up too, cause if there's one thing that will create good conversation it's having a page full of nyah nyahs from the LSU/ND game.
  3. For everyone"s enjoyment next season, could we have ND play an SEC schedule? Pretty please. We went over this earlier in the year and people had ND as the 9th best team in the SEC. You're all as nuts as ND fans.

  5. Told you guys they'd cover the difference of the Oregon St. game.
  6. Or MSU!! ZING!
  7. I thought LSU was supposed to be up by like 42 by now. Weis just coached a horrible first half. Weird how you can actually move the ball when you friggin run the ball.
  8. Manning, Alexander, Gore
  9. thats the stupidest thing i ever heard in my life i want to die right now, what a hell of a game. Well, how do you defend against a team who hires a 4th grader to draw up plays from the playground? Exactly, as I was saying last night, no disrespect to Boise State, but sandbox football isn't exactly going to win the respect of the nation. Beyond the two big trick plays, pretty much every play they ran in OT was unconventional. If Boise State were to play Oklahoma today again, I would bet that a lot of those trick plays would be stomped. Sure sounds like disrespect to BSU to me. Trick plays are part of football, if your team isn't prepared to handle things besides buttonhooks and sweeps, then you weren't prepared to begin with.
  10. No, that'd be ridiculous. If that were the case, you'd go on offense first. Not if you were planning on going for 2. But yeah, they definitely didn't let them score.
  11. I don't think it was a brutal decision. Paul Johnson had been coaching very aggressively the whole game, Kaipo's been throwing well from what I saw and a first down ends the game. I'm assuming he told Kaipo to be careful with the ball and not do anything dumb (which he wasn't careful). With a mobile QB like Kaipo, you have the added threat of the run which increases the likelihood that someone comes open or a hole develops for Kaipo to run through. Not a terrible call, but it should have been executed better. They needed 15 yards and BC was still looking run. If Navy got beat cause they were picked throwing a pass there, it'd be a lot more forgivable to me. It was simply far too much risk to take, when they were already in the driver's seat, only needing to not completely melt down on defense to win.
  12. Of the BALCO 10, Velarde didn't play in '03, so that would seem to trim it to 8 of 9.
  13. How could a coach have run the Navy offense for 20+ years and not know to not run the [expletive] option on 3rd and 15 with 1:40 left and the defense with no TOs. You're on the 50 yard line, you dive up the middle, punt it away, and BC has to drive 65 yards for a FG with 1:00 left and no TOs. Just brutal.
  14. Soooo the Orioles made a good move? The Orioles? Weird.
  15. I went to bed thinking I was done in my pool. Tech keeps my slim hopes alive. 28 on Texas, 25 on VA Tech, and 4 on Navy today. The 4 on Navy might be the biggest cause I'm thinking a lot of people went big on BC.
  16. I had 26 points on Clemson in my money pool. F U CLEMSON
  17. Go Bruins.
  18. Hey!! Vance won another game!!
  19. I have 32 points on CMU. So yeah, I'm watching Central Michigan against Mid Tennesee St.
  20. Time will tell whether he knows what he's doing. Agreed. They were in a position to be very good with an addition to the roster here and there. They still can be, but if they don't make the necessary moves to be competitive this year, Williams is going to look pretty bad with these moves. Detroit has improved their team this offseason. Proof is the WS ring. There are no lucky WS championships. You win it, you've proven yourself. Cub fans may not like that because it's the WS, but believe me if the Cubs won one and people called it luck, we'd be crying foul. So let's be intellectually honest with ourselves, and admit Williams got it done, so he gets the credit. Should Joe Gariogiola Jr. get credit?
  21. Oregon State part II coming for ND. Or at least I hope  I'm willing to take ND(+32) from anyone who's offering.
  22. The Big East is going to go undefeated in bowls and get no respect because of crappy matchups.
  23. I just figured he ranked them 1-32 down the line as I suspect a few others did.
  24. Just barely edging out Jared Fernandez? I love the knuckleball but it's gimmicky, and I wouldn't put a lot of faith in a guy's minor league #s using it. I understand the concept of translating minor league stats, but knuckleballers have proven to be the exception for DIPs, and I think this is another thing where you can't just look at his MLEs and get a good estimate of what he'll become.
  25. So who's the 0-6 guy?
