They're a hell of a lot more in it than the Cardinals are, but no, let's all sit around and freak out about them and say how lucky they are and how unfair life is, after all they used to have in their primes Rolen, Edmonds, Pujols, and Carpenter. That's certainly reason enough to fear them. Heh, I bet you'd be freaking out about the Cards if your team didn't just win an NBA championship. I'm freaking out about the Brewers and my team just won an NBA title. :yahoo: :yahoo: Seriously, I've been saying it all year, the Cardinals just aren't that good, and if it wasn't for the name on the front of the jersey everyone else would be saying the same thing. Yes, Dave Duncan is a great pitching coach, yes Tony LaRussa is a very good manager, but no, the Cardinals aren't anywhere close to the Cubs when it comes to actual talent, and no great coaching(on the major league level) and stupid made up Cardinal magic or whatever kneejerk angry excuse you want to pull out doesn't make up for the difference of actually having good players on the team.
