    i'd like to think kent would lay down his glove and dunn would lay down his bat and they'd embrace but in real life, kent has been kind to dunn, with dunn going 3/7 with 2 homers

    The officiating in the game might have been biased towards OSU, but in the last minute if anything it was to UT-the only real questionable call was the one on OSU where the two players hips just happened to collide while the UT player was on the way down. no way, really? What pisses me off more than this game is the fact that Ohio State should already be out. Greg Oden throws a guy out of bounds and somehow that's not a flagrant foul. Go Memphis, then go UNC/USC/Georgetown/Vandy. Please don't let this overpaid, undeserving team win a title. i hope holy cross wins oh wait hey, on the good side, if you guys win the title, it'll be your second major college sports title in five years that you can credit to incompetent officiating! blahblahblahblah. i had tennessee winning this game in my bracket, so the victory is bittersweet.

    Is Marquis going to be league average in VORP? Yes, you're on Really hard bet to measure... Do you base it on SP's who qualify based on IP? If so, Marquis is unlikely to be better than average. Do you base it on all SP's who appear for their teams at all? If that's the case, Marquis will pitch enough innings to be well above league average. If both of the extremes are too...extreme...then where do you find the appropriate cutoff? i'd say, unless richhillisabeast disagrees, that it should be among qualified starters based on ip. and i don't know what the terms of the bet are. how about the loser has to use an avatar and a signature of the winner's choice for a month, or something like that.

    I don't think you're going to get anywhere near that at this point. Well, that's no good. I sold mine for about 70 a ticket on eBay. 80 might be too much, I had a hell of a time selling my Sox tickets for 80. Really? Bleachers? lot of inventory out there i did find a taker for them at $80 a pop, but yeah, it seemed everyone in the world this year is buying tickets in bulk and selling them on ebay.

    well i agree that if theriot puts up an obp of .350 at the league minimum then i'm fine with him. i'm just not convinced he'll do it. but i wouldn't care if he gets the start over derosa.
