he is what he is. ben sheets is capable of striking out a lot of guys without walking a ton of guys. he's rare. zambrano strikes out a lot of guys, but also walks a lot of guys. that's not so rare. it's not as easy as z simply taking a ben sheets approach, and then all his problems will go away. he's going to walk people, period.

if he pitched to contact without trying to k people, i bet he'd put up worse numbers That last batter was a good example. He worked it to a 3-2 count, by trying to hit those corners, instead of maybe throwing him a fastball when its 2-2, and getting him to bite. I don't know, a guy like sheets gets his K's, but he never walks people. I think he might have a better approach then Z. zambrano isn't ben sheets.
