  1. HAHAHAHA adam dunn hit a homerun because the ball bounced off the outfielder into the stands
  2. you can thank fox for that I don't know one baseball fan that is happy with that arrangement. Theres no baseball on FOX right now, how can they be blacking it out? doesn't matter. every saturday day game is blacked out.
  3. top 1 baby
  4. their blackout rules change year by year apparently. i put in my zip code, and it said i should only be blacked out for reds games. but i'm also blacked out of indians games and tigers games, which wasn't the case last year. who knows who else i'm blacked out of. maybe chicago games too, since chicago is about the same distance away as cleveland for me.
  5. bengals select: brandon siler lb florida DEFENSE DEFENSE DEFENSE, it's what the bengals need and need badly
  6. Agreed. where does it explicitly say that only black people are allowed to wear #42?
  7. Hooooly crap. That is insane. Almost as good as Liriano, Bonser and Nathan for Pierzynski. Or Zambrano for Kazmir. kevin stocker for bobby abreu
  8. yeah, you could. but you'd also be screwed on k's, and if just 1 of your relievers had a bad outing, your era and whip is pretty much screwed.
  9. Yeah I honestly don't get this. The only complaint I ever hear that makes sense is the obstructed view, always neglecting the far superior view from the upper deck that those obstructed views provide. and i always hear about a smell around wrigley...all i smell is hot dogs and grass like any other baseball stadium.
  10. dude, it was so cold. i had two layers of long sleeved shirts, jeans, coveralls, a boggin, and a winter coat. i still got cold (i brilliantly forgot to bring gloves). where were you sitting? it was cold, but a few times the sun was shining on us, and it was glorious. the best part was there was an obscene amount of vendors trying to sell lemon ice and dippin dots. why even try?
  11. how is wrigley a dump?
  12. whatever dude. izturis and derosa are our best hitters. the stats don't lie.
  13. i may just have to go to gabp for non-cubs games now. the reds have this new jumbotron feature between innings called "in the hot seat with kent mercker" where kent has a question that he asks various cincinnati reds, often with hilarious results. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/rocketsaucetd/452007cubsvsreds026.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/rocketsaucetd/452007cubsvsreds025.jpg during the part above, javier valentin is struggling to answer the question in his broken english, then kent replies "you'd probably be an english teacher". lol no matter where you're at, come on over to gabp and see this great little feature. it was almost worth seeing the cubs lose!
