    If that's true, why the heck did Barrett drive himself to the hospital? If he was concussed, he was in absolutely no condition to drive himself anywhere. i love the line "they don't send you to a hospital for a busted lip". they do actually if it requires stitches. the guy is making crap up.

    i'm on the chemistry-is-not-important-to-the team-at-all bandwagon, but if zambrano is slamming barrett's head against a locker and throwing multiple punches, he needs to be gotten rid of. that's just ridiculous.

    Jesus, either Zambrano is a way superior fighter, or the more likely case, Barrett went in the clubhouse to make amends and Z ambushed him.

    a-rod haters can't complain he doesn't come through in the clutch and that he doesn't care about his team. that's as unselfish as it gets.

    i never thought barrett's pitch calling hurt the team, or made the pitchers worse. but his ability to block pitches and throw out runners has been seemed worse this year.

    Barrett's a fine offensive player...for a catcher. I don't think his numbers will improve significantly with a position change. At least not to the point where it's good enough for a corner outfielder. It'd be great if he could play 2B competently, but I doubt he could.

    It may be ridiculous, but I wouldn't expect anything less from Bonds.Then his manager should insist that he play rather than leaving the decision up to Barroids. The manager decides who plays and when, not the players. is there a link to where barry bonds has publicly said this? i highly doubt it's true.

    name a player with a high ops that doesn't add runs to the scoreboard i can name some that haven't been great at putting runs on the board: Derrek Lee Todd Helton Jorge Posada Ken Griffey Jr. it looks like all of them are on pace for 90+ rbi seasons.
