  1. it's closer than i thought
  2. since i'm going to lose to anze, i'm taking it out on everyone else by voting for upsets
  3. tough choice. my favorite poster vs. my least favorite poster. i'm just kidding. jon isn't my favorite poster.
  4. i don't know who carniby is
  5. get some interesting matchups soon
  6. why? i think rivalries is pointless.
  7. from what i have read today he is projected to be a .290-.310 hitter with 35-40 homer power Yeah, maybe if you total up two seasons. i've seen him play every day and he has 40 homerun power. i don't care what stats you use.
  8. i'm pleasantly surprised, soriano has been very good so far. though i wonder if he can sustain his .377 babip.
  9. if SaorsaDaonnan runs in the best nsbb poster tournament it'd be a shame if he didn't win
  10. so it's okay for hank aaron to hang around baseball to break babe's record, but not okay for bonds to hang around to break aaron's record?
  11. if i caught it i'd let barry have the ball for free
  12. I AGREE VERY MUCH. this should replace the hottest chick tourney.
  13. i want to have his babies
  14. that's good, but not 8 year 130 million good.
  15. maybe if it was a poll for fav cub ever he'd get some votes. i took him for granted when he was here. i miss him now.
  16. Move him down in the order and you might get 2 or 3 runs on that one swing of the bat. Pretty simple really. And it would be great to have a bat like Soriano hitting leadoff if we had Beltran in CF, Tejada at SS and Carlos Lee in RF. just because he hit a solo homer to lead off an inning doesn't mean he'll do anything with runners on base. you want your best hitters hitting early, so they get the most at bats. All the more reason not to have Soriano leading off. i agree with that.
  17. i don't care if the manager is laid back like dusty, or if the manager is fiery like lou. all i care about is if the manager is competent, and neither of these 2 clowns are.

  19. GOOD. i hope the yankees overtake the red sox just so soriano12 is shamed.
  20. i do not understand this mentality that a leadoff hitter can't have any pop in his bat. using last year's lineup, it would be considered a successful inning if juan pierre lead off the inning with an infield single, then stole second, followed by todd walker grounding out to second advancing pierre to 3rd, followed by a derrek lee sac fly, scoring pierre. that was 2 outs to get 1 run, but pierre did his job to perfection. soriano, on the other hand, scores a run with 1 swing of the bat, and doesn't waste any outs, but all he did in that inning was hit a practically ineffective solo homerun.
  21. LOL, He really didn't do anything and he said as much during his postgame comments. Lou even made out the lineup. It was a great day to be the manager of the Cubs. the players obviously love playing for alan i mean are you going to argue with the stats?
  22. julian taverez is my most hated player ever, so he gets the nod
  23. you can't argue with the 1 game results
